“My review pertains only to the restaurant.
Maybe the best Indian food I've ever had. I had the Navaratan Korma on two occasions. Consistently very good. Serving size is generous. I also had a veggie puff pastry, which was light on veggie content, but very tasty with the pastry shell being super light and flaky.
4-2-2025 Update: Was there again yesterday and had one of the goat dishes. It was super flavorful and the most tender goat I've ever had. My wife had the Butter Chicken which was also very good. It seemed to me that the Butter Chicken sauce was quite similar to the Navaratan Korma sauce.
Things to know:
Their food is spicier than most Indian restaurants. If you want medium spiciness, I suggest asking for mild.
Lunch is served from 11 to 2:30. Dinner begins at 4pm.
Puff pastries and some other items are only available for dinner. I was told puff pastries often sell out within the first hour or two.
They have several Indian beverages and desserts.
The dining area is very functional. It's a place for great food, not ambiance.”
“I love Trader Joe's in general. I'm thinking the Woodbury store is a little smaller, it always seems chaotic. But I love the prices and the unique items I get there.”
“This location is convenient for me and I usually like the selection of items they stock. There are some fantastic specialty items, but you will pay dearly for them. Recent published price comparisons rank Kowalski's as among the most expensive grocery stores in the Twin Cities. Prices on things I typically purchase can be $1 to $4 higher than the exact same thing at
Target or Walmart.”
“The store is small and convenient. There is a butcher and they do make sandwiches there and seem to have a little bit of everything. Service is always friendly. Prices are a little higher than the big chain stores.”

“I love Aldi for the prices more than anything they have a great variety, but don't always have stock. The generics at Aldi have are pretty good like for instance Cinnamon Toast Crunch, they have their own brand and it's just as good as the expensive brands. They do not carry a variety of soda, so if you have a certain brand in mind you may not find it there”
“I love grocery stores, especially quaint ones like this gem. It’s got character which is so nice. Also lower traffic which is less stimulating for folks who like a slower pace. I found a great price on meat items, and good quality produce. The cashier and deli counter employees were kind and helpful. I would like to suggest more promotions and items to draw you into the store. Carries super value brands and other special products that can be tough to find. I’m glad I stopped in and had a chance to try a few things. Great service and nice electronic receipt as well.”

“I really like the curbside pick up. It's so much more dependable than delivery (which in my case, had never been delivered 2x now). My pickup, scheduled for today, monday, July 22nd, has it pouring down rain when I pulled up. Yet those 2 boys came rushing out with my bags and got them in the car quickly and without any problems. I just wish they were allowed to accept tips, especially on a day like today. Thank you Mahtomedi Aldi's curbside loaders, y'all are awesome! This is sunshine by the way.”
“Really have enjoyed shopping here. Bakery is very good and I seem to always pick an extra item up? The deli/food area is a great place to grab a quick bite. The meat department is well staffed for questions and everyone is helpful and friendly.”
“We like this store, a lot. I would give it a 5, but, the bakery, isnt accommodating. The employees are great. The bakery items are great. The policy's aren't. I asked to buy a variety of muffins that weren't pre packaged, they said they couldn't do that. I asked to buy just two of one type of muffin. They couldn't do that, had to be the four pack. Kowalski, Lund's Byerleys, Hy-Vee, all will sell you any amount of anything. Jerry's needs to be more accommodating.”

“Great food and great prices. Bring your own bag. Have a quarter ready to rent a shopping trolley. Not a huge variety but you'll definitely get better deals here than pretty much anywhere for your grocery needs.”
“Not a week goes by where Classic employees aren't going to Brine's for lunch or picking up groceries on their way home from work. Brine's bag lunches are the best deal around and the quality is second to none. When you combine excellent food with top notch customer service, it is easy to see why they have such a loyal following.”

“I found this place tremendously helpful- so many special diet health foods I'd rarely found in brick and mortar. At both recent visits, I was enthusiastically assisted. They do special orders. When I've finished figuring out my food sensitivities I'll be back to raid their freezers- some of the gluten-free, dairy-free, etc varieties I hadn't seen elsewhere. Posted signs indicted a discount on certain days...”
“River Market is my go to for just about everything. They have a phenomenal selection of natural healing products, I’ve been able to find so many ingredients I needed there that I can’t get at the big box grocery stores. Even the scent of the store is comforting when you walk in.”

“The quality of the store is fantastic. It's a very clean nice looking store. They have a large selection of basic groceries and also higher end gourmet selections. They have a very nice deli, bakery, and meat department. They also have a nice selection of whole foods products. Definitely good competition for Cub foods, Kowalski's, and other grocery stores such as Walmart. It is a little bit more expensive, but you definitely pay for the experience in quality of store and product.”

“This is a hidden gem. Not big, but clean. It carries quality produce and shelf items. While a lot of Asian grocery stores will only carry cheapo China imported items, they carry better quality brands from other parts of the world (Japan, Taiwan, Thailand).”

“Picture this... it's the dead of winter and my lips are so dry they've been bleeding for the past three days that I've woken up (and I can't find any of my chapstick!). Enter my favorite Target! My strongly needed aquafor was easy to find and now my lips can begin their healing journey. Thank you Target for always being there to help when I need you the most! Unfortunately, I am only able to rate this location four stars because today they had half of their parking lot blocked off (for a reason I don't know!) and I was unable to park in my favorite spot. This new occurrence set me off of my groove and I was unable to enjoy my shopping trip to the fullest degree.”
“Yes, hyvee prices are higher than nearby competitors (this is my main draw back and why I'm rating the store only four stars). However, the store has a much wider selection. Take for example today when I needed a small salmon fillet. I checked at an unspecified nearby grocery store with considerably lower prices, but was unable to find what I needed. Any other day I would have found an alternative to save me the trip to another store, but with a wild adolescent weasel roaming my basement, I was not willing to risk it. Thankfully Hyvee had exactly what I needed-4oz salmon fillets are sold at their seafood counter! (fingers crossed the salmon works. Otherwise I'll need to find another way to lure out the vermin) One things for sure, next time I have to get bait for a wild animal in my house, I'll save myself the time and go to hyvee right away!”

“Saw this little market as we were driving around while waiting for our kids at Kokoro volleyball. Stepped in to see what they have and I was amazed at the meat quality and selection. Not just that, they had a great selection of produce and their deli looked delicious. For a little building with gas pumps, it packs a lot. There's even a small dining area.
They have a good selection of meat snack sticks - My favorite snack to eat while waiting for my volleyball kids. I picked up some of their delicious jalapeno cheese sticks. I will be frequenting this establishment now that I've discovered it.”
