“We were considering switching vets and tried this office. Vet was super thorough and friendly. I really enjoyed the amount and of time the vet spent with our pet and the in depth exam. Office seemed spot on, but unfortunately an email was sent out a week later increasing fees things as simple as filling prescription (in addition to the prescription cost themselves) so we decided to not go back. Too many businesses these days are using fees for everything to gain (I say this as a business owner) and it is just not something that fits in my values, especially the general cost of vaccines, care, etc for a pet. If fees for everything don’t bother you- I definitely recommend this vet’s office.”

“I called Pine Grove Animal Hospital because my 7yr old chihuahua Daisy was not doing food.. they got me in for an appointment immediately.. the staff was very friendly, accommodating, and thorough during registration.. Dr. Ciarleglio came in very friendly, informative and compassionate about helping my Dausy.. come to find out she needed emergency surgery and tge doctor went above and beyond to make it happen even clearing his schedule forthe day to save my Daisy’s life.. After surgery I was informed by the doctor himself about what happened during surgery and Daisy’s recovery process. Dr. Ciarleglio made it a point to go check in on my girl a couple of times during the night bto see how-she was doing and monitor her. He and his staff kept me informed throughout this process.. He called me the next morning to inform me that Daisy was doing great and tgat she could come home. When I picked her up Laura ( who was compassionate and such a sweetheart) went over all tge post op instructions with me… I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Curt Ciarleglio and his staff.. If it wasn’t for them my Daisy wouldn’t be alive!! Thank you again Pine Grove Veterinary Hospital forvthe compassion and support you showed to me during this difficult time.. I would recommend them in a heartbeat ♥️”
“So glad I Decided to bring my cat here, she had been having appetite problems and they found the issue so quickly! The staff are super nice and you can tell they all cared for pets in need, cuddling my cat when they brought her back. She ended up having a dental with some teeth extracted and the surgery went super well with the Vet calling me to update and the staff being extremely informative about her after care. She even ended up having a small accident before coming home with me and they cleaned her right up, I'm so grateful! I really love the fact that they have separate sides for cats and dogs for comfort, super clean office and fair prices. Glad to have a veterinary office I know I can rely on!”

“Update: Carver Lake has continued to be amazing. My dog is currently my at training, and she ended up breaking a nail. Carver Lake was able to get me in same day for a visit, to ensure that Pepper had appropriate medical care and medication. She is an anxious pup, and they do amazing with her - even when she was without the normal anxiety meds she takes pre- vet appointment. I appreciate their knowledge, flexibility, and care!
I have used Carver Lake for a few years now, and I had to use them this week when it was time for my 18 year old cat, Ramsey, to cross the rainbow bridge. They were able to get me in same day, and they were incredible. I appreciate the care and attention and patience they demonstrated with something that is so hard for a pet parent to navigate through. I have always thought very highly of Carver Lake and recommended them to other pet parents. This experience exceeded my expectations, and I am so thankful for them.”

“My super anxious dog (3.5 yr old mini Schnauzer) did great getting his annual exam and vaccine. Dr. Abby and staff did an amazing job! With a previous vet my dog needed to be sedated, but Dr. Abby knows her stuff! She made adjustments and distracted him with treats while giving vaccines and the exam. Thanks, Dr. Abby and team!”

I signed up for the monthly wellness plan. I were super disappointed that it took FOUR weeks for me to see my cats dental x-ray pictures. Also, when doing the dental cleaning and there's more work to be done. Email the customer the bill right away and then explain to them over the phone what's going on. When you call me and told me it's going to cost $600 to pull a cat side tooth. That's more than a human tooth being pulled. I should have been able to see the bill right away and why it cost so much. I shouldn't be left with the choice of pay $800 today for teeth pulling and x-rays or come back later and pay $1,200. I denied to pull the tooth that day because I wanted to see the bill and the x-rays. I'll come back and do other services.”

“This place is great. The staff are friendly. However the wait is incredibly frustrating. The last few times I have been here I am waiting a long time and so is my pet. I had a 4:00pm appointment and I didn't get to leave until 7:00pm. They don't examine your pet in the examination room with you. They took my pet in the back and let her sit back there for 30 minutes before someone examined her and came back to me to discuss what they would like to do. They work on other pets while yours is not being worked on. Other people's dogs were getting treated and they left way before me. I was the last one to leave the clinic. I don't understand why I'm waiting 3 hours when I had an appointment for a guinea pig. A large dog would take longer than a guinea pig. I can understand if there is only one vet and are short staffed but it would be nice to know that ahead of time so I can bring food and water for her. Thats the only reason I docked a star. Otherwise I do like this place. It's happened to me a few times now though. I am not complaining im just writing an honest review so others might see the long wait before you're taking your pet home. Be prepared for long wait and bring a charger, book and food and water for your pet.”
