You do have to be a resident of St. Paul to initially qualify. Online application is easy, fast, and the rep (David) I talked to was straightforward and kept things simple. The whole process was seamless and everything was done in 2 days. If you are organized and follow their simple directions, you will have a good experience as I have. Their service is top notch, prompt responses from David to loan officer, Kary Kay was thorough and organized. I definitely would refer anyone to SPFCU.”

I can't use the debit card at Walmart to order groceries. I couldn't use the card to verify account without permission from bank, because the lender was based out of Texas. I can only spend $500 max a day with the card. It's like being a little kid.”

“I have thought about opening a CD here because their rates are generally better than other banks so I finely did. Opening CDs led to opening a checking account and that experience has been better than the two other banks I was using. Any time I have had an issue, the branch is more than willing to help fix the issue. I highly recommend going to a branch over the call center.
This specific branch has been great and working with Oksana and Eric Brine have been a pleasure. I like their app much better than chase and the other bank I left. There is even a pin for quick access to the app that makes it a breeze to check your balance. Now I am trying to recruit friends for their $50 promo.”
