“We went to this branch about 2 months ago to open up account for my spouse. Within minutes we were greeted by the Branch Mananger, Ronke Oyinloye. She helped us open checking account not only for my spouse but also for me in a very short period of time. She was super nice to us and very knowledgeable, guided us about different products that the bank was offering and explained about everything that we needed to know. We were very lucky to have her on that day.I wanted to give 5 stars review to this branch but because of the bank's policy, I had to deduct a star because of 2 things:1. When opening account, we have to deposit a min balance and for that, the bank couldn't use our debit cards from other banks to deposit the funds. (Only cash was accepted)2. We had to use an atm that was in the branch and the fees were a bit high like $4. (plus the existing bank charged us for some other fees).Apart from this, all the staffs seemed very nice.”

We got approved on the spot for a loan and had our new vehicle within a week. Tim was a great help and was accommodating to both our work schedules.”
“This has been my go-to branch since 2020 and I have never had any issues. There were times where the drive thru lanes were longer than usual, but I mostly experienced that during COVID years. The majority of my visits have been related to depositing cash, so I can’t speak on my experience with other services. Additionally, with their app, I’m able to make check deposits without having to visit the branch anymore which saves me time. I also had one issue with a savings account that I needed to close, but I also utilized the app for that and it was resolved within a day. I will continue to use this location as it is one of the closer ones to downtown and the service has always been professional and friendly for me.”

They were able to give me a couple rolls of quarters, no problem, and the tellers were very friendly and helpful. I can't speak for any of the bank's other services, but my experience here was positive.”

We've used WFCU for over a decade, and compared to past big banks (including Wells Fargo), the entire experience start to finish, every aspect, is worlds better. Most recently April 2025 we decided to get a Safe Deposit Box at the Chicago Ave Branch, making an appointment online was very straightforward. We met with Alicia G, who was incredibly helpful. She carefully explained how the boxes work, fees involved, various sizes available, and guided us in using our box for the first time. Cannot emphasize enough how professional and friendly our interaction was. 10/10”
