“I had such a wonderful experience with The White Room from the very beginning of my dress search through my final alterations. As someone who works as an event planner in the industry, I tend to notice the little details when it comes to the overall client experience and I was genuinely so impressed by the care, attention, and warmth I received throughout the entire process.

Jill helped me during my initial appointment and she was exactly the kind of person I hoped to have by my side while looking for my dress. I came in wanting to try on a lot, explore different styles, and really feel like I had seen my options before making a decision. She gave me the space to do that while also thoughtfully guiding me along the way. I never felt rushed, pressured, or pushed toward a certain dress. Instead, she made the whole experience feel relaxed, exciting, and completely centered around what felt right for me.

I also chose to have my alterations done through The White Room, and that experience was just as wonderful. Every fitting felt like walking into my own personal hype team. They were so encouraging and made me feel beautiful each time I put the dress on, while still being incredibly detail-oriented about making sure everything fit exactly as it should. By the final fitting, the dress truly felt like it had been made for me. It fit perfectly and made me feel so confident and comfortable on my wedding day.

What stood out most was how cared for I felt throughout the entire experience. From finding the dress to seeing the finished look come together, the team made such an important part of wedding planning feel genuinely special. “My experience at Brides of France was fantastic from the first phone call to finding the dress of my dreams. I’m 70 years old and I was worried about what the experience would be. From my first phone call to my experience wth Liz it was fantastic. I didn’t expect to find a dress on the first visit but I did. It’s sophisticated and elegant. It wasn’t what I expected to find but it’s perfect. She even called the seamstress who came right over and alleviated my concerns. “I visited Flutter last year during the sample sale and found my absolute dream dress! The salon is truly the cleanest and staff the friendliest in the Twin Cities. By my wedding, I ultimately felt misled about the ease of refitting a sample dress that was 2-3 sizes too large and they underestimated the rough cost of taking it in. I had to compromise a lot on the final fit of my dream gown and paid just as much for alterations as the sample dress itself plus initial cleaning on top of it all. I ended up going to a different seamstress than they recommended, as their seamstress was open about her memory issues during a consult, so wasn’t comfortable proceeding. But overall recommend the salon and their selection and quality of gowns.”

“I’ve been here a couple times—once for a bridesmaid dress to be hemmed, and most recently for a custom job of turning a dress into a skirt.
The bridesmaid dress was done on time, exactly as expected, and reasonably priced.
The skirt…… oh. my. goodness. My tailor, Phuong, has superpowers. I came in 5 minutes before closing on a Saturday with a custom rush job to be done by the following Wednesday (with them closed on Sunday), and it was done less than 48 hours later! She went above and beyond to make it even more perfect than I could’ve possibly imagined. I was quoted $100 upfront for the job, which I initially thought was pretty steep but agreed anyway (since I was desperate for the rush), but after the project being completed so fast and SO WELL DONE, this price was definitely fair. I’m truly blown away at how amazing the skirt turned out. Thank you Phuong!!!!

We went in with a rough idea of the suit color we wanted, but Jena, Amos, and Terry worked their magic to help curate the perfect color scheme for our big day. Jena clearly has an eye for design - she recommended the perfect suit for the groom with a subtle pattern to stand out from the groomsmen, and it truly made me feel one of a kind on our wedding day.
