Horrible rates. unrealistic deposits. I was blind sided when I arrived from Washington. Car was supposed to be $150 for the weekend. That is what my confirmation email from Priceline told me. But at the counter They wanted me to pay over $800 after everything. So I walked across the hall to National and they put me in a nice brand new mustang for 4days for only $300. National is the way to go

Awful experience. Company will slap all kinds of charges on after the fact for additional coverages and gas despite returning the vehicle full. Charges of which you never agreed to after asking for clarity. Customer service won’t help at all and seems quite obvious they have no desire to retain customers or correct their own mistakes. Won’t be using this company again.

Awesome company. Very transparent and affordable company. Didn’t have the vehicle I reserved so the upgraded me at no cost to an amazing vehicle that made the trip so comfortable! Will always do business with this company going forward.

Save yourself time and rent a car with someone else. We rented a car from Dollar at MSP and it was a terrible experience. Our flight was great, but as soon as we got to the rental car area we sensed a problem. We were about the 8-9th person in line which means we were in for at least an hour wait. We started hearing mumblings that there were no cars available but nobody from the business had told us anything. After at least an hour of waiting we finally got to the front of the line and we're told "you know there is a 2 hour wait for a car". I replied with no we weren't sure because nobody told us. We only heard mumblings of people that were ahead of us. Nobody from the business advised us of any issues. After getting to the front of the line and finding this out I turned to the 10-12 people behind us and relayed the message since nobody from Dollar had the nerve. After waiting an hour we were ultimately told we could wait a few more hours or just leave and our reservation would be cancelled. Unfortunately we had to wait at least an hour to find this out because no announcement was made to those waiting. Ultimately we went to Ace Rent a car because they actually had cars available and were friendly. It took us about 10 minutes to complete the entire process there.

Never rent a car from here at Minn. St.Paul rented from here and had to wait 3 hours to get the car along with 20 other people forget this place. Would give 0 stars if I could.

They were closed at 7:30pm on a Friday night, when their website stated they were open until midnight. I was left stranded at the airport after reserving a car, and their 1-800 customer service line was a nonstop loop of useless information.There was no way to speak to anyone, and after having to rent another car through another company - and paying several hundred dollars more - I tried to register my complaint. Dollar denied my story, said they were open at the time they clearly weren't, and offered no apology or assistance.Do yourself a favor and NEVER rent from Dollar. Absolutely horrible experience.

Terrible company, it seems they have a policy to steal from their customers. We rented a car with full is full policy, we filled the tank a few miles before the drop-off. I took a picture of the gauge, and still they bill us 2 gallon at a rate of 10,71$. That is pure theft, nothing more.

Plain Horrible. Don't rent from this place. Do yourself a favor1) 45 min wait to get served, not nearly enough people serving customers2) once we got to the front of the line, they said it was a two hour wait (so likely 3 or more) because they were low on inventory... even though we had a reservation. Many (like 20) angry customers in same boat. We put our name down, but decided to browse a different company because we didn't want to wait that long3) I ended up going to a different company because we could not wait. I told the clerk at the counter, she said my rental (which she charged) would be voided and I'd get an email confirmation saying so. Neither happened. So basically I was down ~$400 for a car I didn't even rent, because I didn't want to wait 3 hours. Now I have to call customer service and who knows how long I'll have to take just to get some cash back . Yikes.What's perhaps the worst part about this all, is that apparently they've been boning over customers like this for SEVERAL WEEKS. It's one thing if it's a day, or weekend, or even a week of piss poor service. But SEVERAL WEEKS???? With no memo or anything to even pretend like you care about the issue? That's just a clear lack of care at all to the customer.They know whose dollar it is -- theirs! Don't waste your time and effort here, what an embarrassment.

Employees were slow, but patient. It took me two hours to get my rental car. This was due to Dollar only having one employee work the front desk. As well as Dollar not having my vehicle ready and at the location where I reserved it. Dollar also charged me more money after I reserved my vehicle with a third party company. So I'd you're looking to use a discount with any third party, don't bother because you will get charged more regardless. All and all, this place wasted so much time on my vacation, it's not worth the cheaper rates.Update, via my third party. I was supposed to pay the additional 91 and change. While this was resolved, it was still annoying how long I waited.

Reserved car 3 months ago. Came here and they did not have a car ready. Stated we had to wait a few more hours. There were probably 50 people in front of us and others who had waited 3 hours already. How do you not have a single car ready? Will never use them again.

Absolutely terrible! 3 hour wait on a car that was paid for 6 months ago. They said, "we had more customers than expected."If I did my job like this company runs their businesses, people would die. Absolutely terrible!!

Wellllllllll this is just a poorly run business which is not fair to the frontline workers or customers.Evidently, every Monday there is not a cleaner staffed at the Terminal 2 (Humphrey Terminal) location. Since cars need to be ferried from Terminal 1 to satisfy reservations, this ongoing problem is just one of many delays stretching wait times beyond 90 mins.My fellow stranded customers and I all had longstanding reservations so it's not like we weren't expected.Of course, no compensation was offered. Moreover, customer service agents had nothing to give, including f**ks.

We have been waiting now for almost an hour to get a car...had a reservation, waited in line and now just waiting to get a car Have NEVER had such a horrible experience with company, and clearly one that does not care about customer service. Will never use again...if I could give negative stars I would.
