For a weekend stay in a downtown hotel, I think the price was reasonable. My truck was too tall for the underground parking but the staff was helpful with suggesting alternative parking. The cookies were delicious and the room was clean. The only criticism I have is that the soap smells like Nair and the toilet lid was broken.
Nearby activities: Within walking distance to a local theater and the Target Center
Food and drinks: Several places to eat nearby

The price for the night was super good. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and the employee was friendly. Excellent location. However, for a 4-star hotel, several aesthetic and cleanliness aspects of the rooms can be improved. A charger was found on the floor of the room. The bathroom lock didn't work. One of the bed sheets had a stain that was probably blood. The bathroom ceiling needed paint repair and we were a reservation for 4 people and they only left 3 towels.

One of the worst stays in a hotel.
Terrible rooms.
Terrible amenities.
Terrible customer service.
The only thing good about this hotel was its friendly and professional morning staff.

The service and location is fantastic. The rooms could use a little bit of work in spots. The parking at the hotel was nice but expensive. Overall a nice place to stay.

I stayed here during a medical conference because it was one of the hotels recommended and close to the convention center. I’ve never had a problem before with hotel blocks available for medical conferences in the past or with a Hilton, but I regret not doing my own research and looking at reviews. Worst Hilton experience ever. I’ve stayed at nicer motel 6s. My room smelled like smoke, dead bolt was broken, wallpaper was peeling, toilet paper roll holder was broken, my bathroom door wouldn’t close, breakfast was not included despite what the website said when I booked. This place needs major updates. Definitely not worth the price. Least they could do is include parking or breakfast. If I had stayed more than 2 nights I would have looked for another hotel.

We showed up at 1:30pm and they charged a $35 "early check-in fee" for being there before 4pm even though the room was ready. That's absurd.
The body wash in the shower was empty, and after telling the front desk literally every single day for all of the three nights, we left after our stay with the body wash never refilled.
We asked the front desk twice to clean the room and they never did, even after we watched them write down our room numbers.
The "breakfast" was $17, and they had run out of milk. Literally they didn't even go to a store to buy milk. No Milk for cereal or coffee and they still felt it OK to charge full price for breakfast without disclosing that.
Last nail in the coffin, we asked the front desk on the last day if our parking was good until 4pm, they said we would "be fine", but when we left and scanned the ticket we were charged $16 for parking.
Absolutely do not stay at this hotel. It's clear they just get business from conferences and do not actually care at all about any of their guests.

Safety: People clearly tweaking in the lobby in the middle of the day.

While the location and size of the rooms are good; the rest of the experience leaves much to be desired. We were staying on the 7th floor and immediately were hit by the foul mildew smell upon exiting the elevator. The mattress was very uncomfortable, having two large indentations on both sides of the mattress. Also, parking and breakfast were expensive.
Walkability: Easy to get to nearby restaurants.

Please avoid this hotel.
Bad a/c. Bad customer service.
Received receipt upon checking out with 2nights refund. No refund has been received after 2 months.
Tried to dispute with credit card company and they came back with a receipt from hotel showing the hotel had issue a refund with a refund transaction.
Looks like a potential stealing from anyone handling the refund.
No one in the hotel management team is responding to any email too.
So just stay away from this hotel.

I have been a HH member for many years and this is the first time I I am writing a complaint about a Hilton. It started with parking. When we arrived the lot was full. I saw people leave, and I walked the lot, there were spaces, but we could not get in. We were told those spaces were reserved for other guests that had already parked. This did not make logical sense, but what could we do. I asked Shelia, at the front desk, where I could park. She told me to look around and 'try Target'. We ended up parking there. When I came back I wanted to complain about the parking. Shelia was neither helpful nor willing to listen. I spoke louder - I never yelled - and she said that since I raised my voice she was not going to check me in! She said - 'What are you going to do about it if I don't check you in' - a clear threat. I told her I'd complain and she said go ahead. This is poor service to say the least. If you are not going to have spaces for guests you need to have researched where they can go and give them directions. The guests should never be threatened, even if it is getting loud (she also raised her voice, BTW). It bothered me so much that after all these years I'm thinking of using Marriotts.
One last thing - the room carpets are dirty and there is no chain for the desk (I am sitting on the foot rest typing this).
Hilton has been great to me. I have a travel job, out about 30 weeks a year. Anytime I can't be home, it's Hampton, Doubletree or HGI. I sincerely hope this is a one off, and you can provide Shelia some training on how to better handle guests who are upset when they are not getting the services they perceive they paid for.
Walkability: no

Going to target field? Just a short 7 block walk with a great Indian restaurant on the way. Perfect location to catch a game. $30 for parking at the hotel but nice to be close.

We stayed one night to attend a concert. The front desk swiped our card for a $100 for incidentals. We were told to place a parking form in our vehicle as we checked in. The next morning, I called to check out. Got home and have a$67 charge on card. Called Doubletree and asked what is the charge for? Parking and early check in. I stated I was not informed of early check. The male staff member said I checked you in. I stated a female checked me in and stated nothing about early check in fee. I have always liked Hilton properties but not so sure anymore. Hopefully I will be able to take up with a manager. Also no hot water for showers?
