La Mexicana Supermercado is a Mexican supermarket and restaurant in Minneapolis offering a wide variety of Hispanic products from Mexico and South America. The store includes a carniceria, panaderia, pasteleria, dulceria, and a 100% Mexican restauran. They sell delicious tamales, Mexican candy, and other delicious products, including items from El Salvador. They also offer Mexican autobuses and beautiful, colorful Mexican artesania. The staff is very friendly, nice, and helpful. The store accepts WIC and EBT and has very beautiful murals painted outside. It is a good place with a wide variety of products and meats.
My picnic in the park with FRESH DELICIOUS tamales, tiramisu & tea! My favorite is their chicken, but they're all Awesome! Get ya some fresh produce while you're there!

Was in for the 1st time Saturad 12/6 for Birria tacos and Watermelon Fresca!! Hands Down, the BEST IVE HAD! 20/10
