“The Guys at Skips (recently acquired by Golden Vally Tire) were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The oil change on my vehicle was done in a timely manner. Prices are reasonable. They are remodeling the front customer area , it should be a great functional space when complete ! I will definitely go back when I am in need of auto repairs. I have been to GVT in Golden Valley several times and they have always given me great service . Skips will be a great addition to the Golden Valley Tire team .”
“I usually go to a Valvoline but after today, Jiffy Lube has a new loyal customer! After having multiple issues dealing with untrained technicians messing up my oil pan and such it's just not worth saving a couple extra bucks. I took a chance trying somewhere new and I'm glad I did! Jiffy Lube was a pleasant experience from start to finish! The manager was very informative and patient with me. And the 3 guys who worked on my truck got me in and out in less than 10-15 minutes! With my coupon my conventional oil change was about $50. They also informed me that I'm able to get my car topped off for free if need be. If that doesn't all scream customer service then I don't know what does! The only thing I suggest is maybe a new paint job outside so people can better see where your located! Thanks Jiffy Lube for the amazing service!”
“This place practices the lost art of exceptional customer service! I stopped in this afternoon as I was passing through the neighborhood when my tire light came on. I saw that my rear tire was losing air. Although a very busy shop, Clint stopped what he was doing to help me out. He repaired my tire and 10 minutes later I was on my way. Great guy and awesome family-owned business. I'll be back!”
“I had a flat tire and walked in expecting to buy 2 new tires. Instead, they were able to patch the tire I had, which saved me a lot of money. I’ve been to shops where they try to convince me I need unnecessary repairs or upsell me on the services I do need-I did not have that experience here. The service was quick and the communication from the staff was clear and friendly. My car is running great and I plan to be back in the future.”
“Needed a tire replacement. Stopped by the shop, they ordered the tire. Called me the next morning and said the tire was delivered and as soon as I drove over, they'd throw the new tire on.

“I’ve been taking my car to Honest-1 for a few years. It’s 15 years old now and has over 150k miles so it has needed quite a bit of maintenance. While the prices aren’t always the cheapest, they are consistent and reliable. They have good availability and get things done efficiently. They explain things when I ask questions, and while there always seems to be a list of more suggested maintenance, I don’t feel like they push me into getting extra unnecessary work done. They help me decide what to prioritize when I’ve had multiple costly repairs, and they get things done on time. When they have messed up, they have always done their best to rectify the situation. Dealing with car repairs and maintenance is never fun, but the folks at Honest-1 make the process significantly easier.”
“I was driving my motorcycle home from my winter storage and I got a flat tire. While waiting to be picked up, I walked around to see if I could find some sort of air option at one of the neighboring businesses. I was walking by Tom's business and startled him working after hours on his own vehicle. I told him what was happening and he said he would connect the hose to his building to help me out. I pushed the motorcycle his property and tried to fill up my tire. It was not working and he came out to check up on us. I have broken the bean (seal) and Tom grabbed some tools and started to try to help us selflessly. There were 3 different ways he attempted to fix the tire and the last one was a blast of compressed air that pushed the tire back into place. He told us about the charity work he does and his other hobbies (cars and motorcycles). He fixed it, check both the tires, and sent me on my way. I offered to pay him and I was so happy for the help, and he declined. WHAT A NICE GUY!! I do not live in the area, but I think I found my new mechanic. Thank you Tom!! You saved my day, or could have been my week. So thankful!!Service: Tires”

Their communication & willingness to get my car right in, diagnosed & fixed was something I appreciated beyond words! We rely so much on our vehicles & they take that very seriously!! They acknowledge you the moment you walk in the door, listen carefully to what the problem is, then communicate with you every step of the way, complete with photos & an estimate ready for your approval. The cost of this repair was lower than I had expected & a great value. They also offer free towing & shuttle service if you're really in a bind.

“This place was fantastic. We were leaving town to head home to St. Louis and had a tire issue at 4:00PM. I couldn't even get another shop to answer the phone. They picked up, got me right in and we were on the road in an hour. Fantastic service that saved us from being on the side of the road later in the night. If you live in the area I would highly recommend them!”
