“We usually go to the Nokomis branch but saw the main store last week when they had a special sale event. There's a huge selection of earth-friendly goods and staples there, all of what the smaller store has plus more. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and offered advice about the beeswax wrap I bought to try out. I'd recommend either store to anyone concerned with the environment and sustainability. Yes, you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it to know you're doing your part for the planet.”

“We honestly just stopped by to check out the new place, and I think it’s one of the best Latin markets I’ve visited in Minneapolis, with a huge variety of fresh and high-quality Hispanic products. The place was very clean and I loved the tacos from the restaurant inside, we couldn’t resist and had to try them ( authentic Mexican flavor: very delicious, good portion and price ? ) They also have specials and they thank you for your purchase with a gift from the store ( they gave us two pounds of fresh chicken and a 10% off card for my future purchases! ) And without a doubt, the customer service was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly, and they have bilingual people who will help you with whatever you need. ¡We will back soon, muchas gracias! ?”

“Lovely local grocery store with fairly competitive prices. Very nice staff and clean store. Self checkout is also available for quick visits. I go here when I need a few things and/pr want a quick grocery run and I’m always in and out very quickly. But even for bigger grocer runs, this place is perfect. I love supporting the local shops and I highly recommend this place.”

“The parking lot there pretty scary to get in and out. It also smells like carbon monoxide very badly. There are no self check out so the lines get long with only 2 register open during the rush time. In general it is like all other Aldi. Cheaper then everywhere else, food is fresh and testy.”

“Aldi provides amazing food options for everyone. The selections may be limited in scope but the price is still less expensive than other grocery store chains. They provide really good food choices with less artificial ingredients.”

“This is small gem in the neighbohood. It has a very decent selection for a small asian grocery store. I am glad to have it hear by so that I do not have to travel far. Loved the selection of noodles and mushrooms.”

“Didn’t thoroughly check the place out but the stuffed animals brought me joy. Prices don’t seem too bad for supplies I did check out, though. Wish price tags weren’t very worn out and items like the calculators that weren’t on shelves still said the price so you wouldn’t have to ask.”

“I have been parring down the breadth of what I eat. I am eating less processed foods and more from scratch meals. Aldi works very well for me. They are smaller than other large chairs and they don't carry everything, which suits me just fine. Their store brand products are excellent and less expensive than name brands.”

They have shrimp, chicken wings and it's all deep fried and grilled. They have thee most amazing Philly Cheese steak sandwiches. They cook such good foods there's usually wait lines. You can call the store and order ahead of time so you don't have to wait around.”

“This is my neighborhood bodega. The guys who work here are pretty chill. They have some basic kitchen ingredients, snacks and a small selection of locally made baked goods and flat bread. They have a nice selection of dates and middle eastern and African spices and ingredients. They could do better on their ice cream selection tho. Overall, I am glad they are nearby because my neighborhood is a food desert.”

“I believe Cub is trying to keep the doors open. If they close, there will be no grocery store on the north side. I have seen great efforts to keep the rift raft out of their parking lot. I had complained numerous times about security not doing their job. Out with the bad and in with better personnel. Also the theft has declined; i use to see shoplifters walk out of the store and sell the product 50 feet from the door. Not any more.Cub closed in Brooklyn Park not because of the theft but because of the competition. There is no competition here.
One final note- ask for your receipt, sale items do not always show up on the print out. If u make a determined effort to shop the items which are markdown, Cub can be competitive.”
