About The Bridge for Youth
The Bridge for Youth is a caring and supportive organization that has helped many young people over the years. It provides a safe, clean, and relaxed environment for youth who are homeless or in need of support. The facility offers more than just shelter; it also provides resources, case management, and programs to help youth get off the streets and succeed in life. Many past and present participants describe the staff as kind, understanding, and non-judgmental, making it a trusted place for those seeking help. Historically, The Bridge has been there for youth in difficult times, offering hygiene, meals, and a place to stay even if someone wants to leave. Even after many years, people still remember the positive experiences and the genuine care they received. Today, the organization still partners with other groups to ensure youth have access to opportunities and resources, including therapy, support groups, clothing, and programs for teen moms. Youth appreciate the community atmosphere, and many find that the services and support have made a real difference in their lives. While some mention that mental health services could be improved, overall, The Bridge remains a vital resource for homeless youth, offering hope and assistance. It is recommended for anyone facing homelessness or challenges, as it can be a turning point toward a better future.

I do not stay at the bridge but I get services (therapy, So What If I Am group) and from my experiences the people are amazing! I also met people that have stayed/staying there that love the community! I have been going to the SWIIA group for more than a year, the help is amazing! They are amazing allies of the LGBT+ community!
