“CAA has been advocating for animals since 1998. Aside from regular fun events and meetups, they also host the enormous Twin Cities VegFest (typically held in September) and organize the Vegan Chef Challenge, which gets restaurants to be creative about adding vegan options. The Twin Cities and Minnesota are fortunate to have CAA thriving and advocating!”

“Great selection! Some of the reviewers here clearly don’t know the effort that goes into not just being a shop, but also PRIMARILY a safe space for many women to gather. Me being a customer comes secondarily to me financially supporting this space.”

“Great reuse/salvage warehouse for reclaimed wood and other building or renovation materials. I’ve purchased reclaimed wood flooring and rough sawn lumber reclaimed from their deconstruction efforts to keep building materials out of the landfill while creating jobs. Here’s how I used rough sawn wood to cover a new beam.”

“PPL are my apartment "landlords" and have been since they accepted as well as rescued my daughter and I out of the PSP homeless shelter for women and children 4 years ago. “The Bridge for Youth is an outstanding resource for the community! Along with help to shelter homeless youth of the Twin Cities, they have grown over the years to offer so much more than just that. It is a safe, clean, relaxed environment where youth can go to find the resources they need to get off the streets. They offer case management to help navigate the resources that are out there and for youth, and will hopefully become an incredible asset for you or the person you know that could really use the help of their non-judgmental services. Do yourself a favor and contact them rightaway, it might just be the best thing out there for those that need it and it wouldn't hurt just to give them a call and see if it's right for you. I'm writing this review with firsthand knowledge, take my advice and give them a call, it could change your life for the better as I know it has for someone I know, and countless other young adults who had found themselves on the streets and didn't know were to go or who they could turn to for help. They partner with many other organizations who's goal is to see youth succeed in this game called life! Oh and if this review was helpful please give it a thumbs up so that I know itactually reached someone, thanks, and I decided to include a couple nighttime photos of the Bridge because let's face it, that's the time of day where we would be thinking about where are we gonna lay our head tonight! I wish you luck on your journey, I know it's hard at times, just try to keep your head up and do your best to get through whatever challenges life presents you with, and smile because you just found a great resource to help with some of them challenges! Thanks for reading, I hope this review helps! :-)”
