About University YMCA
The UY promotes workforce readiness with all students, creating a pipeline of talented youth moving into careers in business, nonprofit, health care, and education. An annual networking event, internships, and workforce readiness seminars prepare college students for the real world of work. Students lead the University Y! From our board to program leadership to innovation of new programs, everything we do at the UY is built around college students leading in volunteer and work-study leadership positions. Our students work in teams to build individual and group capacity to impact the community positively.

NOT a swim or gym space. If you are looking to workout or attend a fitness class, the closest alternative options would be the Dayton YMCA in downtown Minneapolis, or the Midway YMCA in St. Paul. Really nice staff though!

The UY is an AMAZING place for college students to find a supportive and diverse community or peers that is committed to serving the surrounding Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Highly recommend getting involved! NOTE: there are no swim and gym facilities here!! Go to the Midway Y for that instead.
