The Walker Art Center is an amazing and wonderful midsized art museum in Minneapolis that is a must-visit part of any trip. It exhibits a diverse and great selection of modern and contemporary art, with a ton of amazing pieces in its permanent collection. The adjacent sculpture garden is very cool and always worth a visit, especially in the summertime. The modern, architecturally striking building is welcoming. It offers a captivating experience with visual arts and multimedia installations. The on-site restaurant and coffee shop provide delicious food and creative cocktails in a fun atmosphere. The museum is free on Thursday evening and the first Saturday of the month, though some find the entrance tickets expensive. A convenient parking ramp is available. While some visitors find the amount of artwork limited and feel one visit is enough, it is highly recommended by many as a great delight.
Did the outdoor sculpture garden for the first time after driving by hundreds of times; it was pretty cool, dog friendly with free tap water for the dog aswell.
