YWCA Minneapolis - Midtown is a community-focused organization dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women and girls. Through a range of high-quality, equity-centered programs, they create leaders, spark positive change, and improve the overall health of the community. The facility offers a variety of amenities, including a pool, sauna, gym, and fitness center. Members praise the friendly staff and appreciate the availability of a gymnasium and childcare services. However, some reviews mention ongoing issues with the facility's infrastructure, such as malfunctioning drinking fountains, showers, and the pool. While the $75 monthly membership fee is considered a good deal, some members express frustration with the inconsistent operational status of certain amenities, requiring them to call ahead before visiting to ensure the facility is fully functional. Overall, the YWCA Minneapolis - Midtown aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment, though the maintenance of the physical space remains an area of concern for some members.
