“Really made me think. Will return again for more inspiration! Store is also thoughtfully organized (for example, cookbooks are by food gifts for sale); rich in character.”
“Lovely children’s bookstore that is quirky and clearly designed with young ones in mind. Staff is always happy to help or recommend books; cats roam freely through the store, and a few other animals call the bookstore home too. The best. :)”
“I get inspiration in here. It us a calm place, but people are happy in the bookstore. The staff is always helpful, and I find good gifts for kids. They have an amazing selection of jigsaw puzzles if you want to get away from the electronic world. Trust me, all generations will add a few pieces to your project, even if they are not into jigsaw puzzles. We get them for rainy days inside. Books you can't find are easily ordered to the store, to avoid wet packages on your steps... It happens!”
“The Thinking Spot is a welcoming haven for book lovers, especially those with a passion for STEM. The thoughtfully curated collection offers a wealth of resources for both students and adults. The books are well-organized by category, making browsing a breeze. Whether you're seeking to expand your knowledge or explore new topics, their selection is sure to ignite your curiosity. Plus, they host a variety of engaging events and meetups, (schedule published in their website). I’m looking forward to my next visit!”
“What an amazing and welcoming bookstore! It’s so nice to be greeted in a genuine fashion by someone who is interested in their customers. This is a charming little shop absolutely packed with paperbacks. It’s definitely worth a visit!”
“This is a cozy, one-story bookstore with a really nice and thoughtfully curated collection of books. Whether you're into fiction, non-fiction, or just browsing for something new, you're likely to find something that catches your eye. The layout is simple and easy to navigate, and the shelves are well-stocked without feeling overwhelming.
The staff here are super friendly and approachable — they genuinely seem to enjoy being there and are happy to help if you’re looking for recommendations or need help finding something.
One thing to note is that there isn’t a seating area or café space inside. Unlike some other bookstores that have a Starbucks or a lounge area where you can sit down and read a few chapters, this one is more of a grab-and-go kind of place. It would be nice to have a quiet corner to flip through a book before buying, but even without that, it's still a great stop for book lovers.
Overall, it’s a great place to support local and discover your next read. Just don’t expect to linger for too long unless you're standing!”
“Words alone cannot describe the peace of wandering wordlessly among thousands of books that you can actually touch, feel, smell and sometimes read. We love bookstores in every size. From Shakespeare & Co in Paris to B&N (which used to be a rough young startup btw) it’s nice to bump other people who like the same thing you do. Many stars.”
“I was so happy to be back in a Half Price Books after years living in places without any. It was welcoming and like seeing an old friend. I found more movies than my budget would allow. Quite pleased with my finds! Lovely, helpful, professional staff who helped get some sticky mystery gunk off of a dvd. Fantastic location. Am so pleased!”
“I love this store! The owners are personable and knowledgeable, and they've turned me on to some excellent books! Go visit and say hi to Nell, the shop dog (and real boss!) and enjoy a great experience!”
“Cafe was very clean and nice, the staff was kind and the prices are never that bad. The store is organized a tad peculiarly and it makes finding the section you wanted a little hard but it gives you motivation to peruse the shelves.”
“We took our grandson to the store to pick out a Bible and they had a great collection! It was wonderful to be able to go to a Christian Bookstore! Wonderful birthday outing! ?”
“The cutest little Christian store in the area! There's so much to chose from. From items with quotes, to clothing items, children's toys, Christmas items, kitchen items, jewelry, books, journals, and so much more! We went here looking for a few gifts for someone we know that just lost her mom and we found the perfect candle and devotional book. The employees are very friendly and there if you have any questions. The price range varies depending on the item. You can find things that are reasonable priced to more expensive pieces. I loved the cozy atmosphere. This is a store you could walk around over and over again and find things you didn't see before!”
“Used to be the place for anything & everything music! Too bad selling CDS and concert tickets has all gone online and stupid fees expensive, it's ruined everything to do with live entertainment!
Hope you guys can make it with your 2 oldest stores! Hopefully you will be able to sell weed or something new to keep ya going!
Thanks for so many great memories going to your store every week for the new discs and tickets!”

“I went here originally from 2003-2006 and graduated with my AA before moving on to a four-year university. I'm back now almost 20 years later and sincerely appreciate this place. I didn't realize back then how fortunate I was to attend NHCC when comparing it to the big university campuses.”
“Outstanding store. The owner helped me pick out amazing gifts for my beloved. I’ll be going back for others in the future.
Great selection of cards and all sorts of keepsakes. That along with the personal touch and conversation with the owner was a pleasure.”

“They got a nice Manga and anime related good section, not sure if it's in the middle of building or they were cleaning out though. But if they expand on it I think I could see myself coming back.”
