“This is my favorite cub food that I have been shopping to for over 12 years. Some workers are just mean and horrible . I was treated so poorly by the cashier at the money counter. She asked for my ID and I give it to her , I tried to read the control number and she shut me down and said show me something that has your full name as it appear on your ID . I showed her a screenshot of the money gram displaying the amount. She looked at me and said sorry we don’t have 584 in the store right now do you have our number to call and see if we have that amount available in an hour or you can come back. Excuse me , are you serious ? I was so tired and exhausted from taking care of my two months old babies that I managed to just make a time for myself and pick up that money that my sister sent me from Australia. I have family to look after and I don’t have time
to come back right away . I wish some people can just show kindness when you see someone that look down hearted. I won’t give this store a bad review because of her , I wrote this review so she can learn to show empathy to a fellow human no matter the color of their skin.”
“I just love and am so thankful for this little store! What a blessing to have them within walking distance of my home-
It’s unbelievable the stuff I have found there….many times in a pinch they have saved me a trip to the dreaded Cub.
The guys who own and run the place are so friendly and helpful too-a neighborhood treasure for sure.”
“I never understood the popularity of Trader Joe’s until moving next door to one. Limited selection, but isn’t that part of the appeal? Great seasonality of products offered and high quality too. Very convenient location for me and I can’t stop popping in just to see what new things they might have.”
“This is an excellent clean store. The area may be a little rough but the staff are friendly I feel safe. Cheap soft drinks and cool selection of interesting products. I would come again. Jay was the bomb and I'll come back again.”
“It's a small but very nice place! They have a large selection of bulk items such as grains, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, coffee, tea, herbs, seasonings, honey, molasses, and even things like bulk tahini and soaps! They dont have a list of what they have, which is unfortunate but its still enjoyable”
“I love this small reclaim store offering groceries at deep discounts. There is a small freezer and refrigerator section as well as canned goods, household items, snacks, etc. They also have their regular priced We are Nut selection of bagged nuts and candy. Seasonal decor for sale too. Try it you will like it. Very clean store and great staff too. You will find great products at great prices.”
“Adam's is the place to go. Every single night, my roommates and I haul over to Adam's for a sweet treat to end off the night. I genuinely sit and chat with Dennis and Carlos for hours on end. The momma cat had her kittens and they are cute as ever. Great place to boost your morale.”
“Great staff! Great options for specialty items like vegan dressings and random condiments- a crowd favorite at our house and as always, good pricing and beautiful flowers!”
“This store is great. It has a lot of items packed into a not very large business space, and I like the variety. I really wish there was more than one Trader Joe’s in Saint Paul, it seems really popular, there’s always a lot of customers in there.
I feel like Trader Joe’s frozen foods are of a better quality than a lot of equivalent frozen items in other places. This store has a lot of produce in it for such a small produce area.
They have a great selection of cheese for such a small store also. I love that they import a lot of items, I like that they have a coffee grinder on site, and the staff are helpful. Trader Joe’s brands everything with their own labeling, so if someone is new to the store they might expect to find common brands in there and will not. However, Trader Joe’s have really good products. Many of them are made with more natural ingredients, and many of them cost slightly less than their counterparts at other stores.
It’s also a great place to find unusual or seasonal items you might not find anyplace else. Theres a lot of seasonal themed flavors going on here over a range of products at any given time of year.
They don’t do delivery apps so you need to go into the store in person to shop. I see that as the only negative, but the store views it as positive. They like in person customers at TJs and are trying not to use Instacart and things like it, this limits how much disabled people who have a hard time in winter can shop there.
Other than that, I find their whole business model and products very positive.”
“A very nice Oriental market. It has a huge selection of everything you need for authentic Oriental cooking. The produce is fresh and appealing. The staff are friendly and helpful.”
“This is my usual grocery place. I'm here weekly or bi-weekly. It is well stocked, although it is a smaller Aldi, so it does have less choices than some of the larger Aldis (like the new one at 109th and Central) have. The workers are friendly, and the produce lasts. I save a lot of money and time shopping here...I'm so glad it's around. Also, the store is clean and well organized and the bathrooms are clean.”

“Love having this store within walking distance. I was surprised to see they even have cuy in the freezer! ?? ?? I opted not to buy that, but was happy with the items I DID purchase for supper tonight! ?”
“Went to buy flowers when Chelsea saw me gathering several bunches. Came over to help & when I explained that I was putting together a Thank You bouquet she went to get a small bucket & bag so I could keep them protected. In the course of conversation I explained that UM vet. clinic took care of my dog & it was for them. When she heard he passed she showed compassion & a kindness I will never forget. This planet needs more people like Chelsea &TJ.”
“The store has undergone a significant improvement, and I appreciate the variety of food options available. The selection not only meets but also exceeds my expectations. The freshness of the products is consistently high. Although the store may appear small, it features an excellent layout and is organized neatly, contributing to a quick and efficient shopping experience.”

“This is my go-to store for olive oil, vinegars, and fresh local honey! They also have a great coffee bar, and great books and other foodie gifts. This one is worth going "out of the way" for!!”
“Bob's is an awesome place for catering an event. We had the fried chicken dinners for our dad’s funeral and everyone raved!! The church ladies also like working with you, which says a lot! It’s also a great place to pick up lunch or dinner or a do a quick grocery trip.”
“Nothing to complain about here really & that's a compliment nowadays. It's been a roll of the dice for any visit I've made to any Aldi location. But we nearly always spend money when we go as there are often great deals and products available.”
“Good grocery store and very clean. Get ready. There is a butcher shop, 1 restaurant, 1 deli, the food looks great actually ;) They even have birria, even more creative they have ramen birria. Everything is kinda overpriced especially on the grocery store side but that’s with everything after Covid. There is even an ice cream place inside. A mini pharmacy and the list goes on. Discover your knowledge on Mexico and Mexican groceries ??”
“What an amazing little gem of a place! They have several Filipino treats to satiate the cravings of the islands! From banana ketchup and lumpia, to soimai and ube ice cream, there's surely something that you will find to remind you of the Philippines. I'm excited to go back and try the restaurant next door!”
“I ordered about a dozen cans of Hokey Pokey for client gifts in January. I ordered the cans over the phone and picked them up in person. The store was on the small side, but there was a great variety of candied and non-candied nuts. I bought a bag of Birthday Cake candied almonds and a bag of hazelnuts. The cans of Hokey Pokey were so cute- like paint cans. I didn't take a photo (sorry!) but the cans had handles and were plain white- the perfect canvas for our logo stickers. The service was great, the nuts were fresh and novel. The perfect local business gift!”
“It’s an interesting find in the heart of Lyn Lake. Has been there for ages. There is mostly Greek food, from feta, olives, and other Greek items you can’t find in the city. There is a great selection of Slavic and Arabic groceries.”
“The Wedge is a fantastic place to shop, offering a wide selection of fresh, locally sourced, and sustainable organic foods. Their bulk section is filled with numerous organic options, making it easy to find what you need. I especially love their grass-fed beef and organic milk. The produce is always fresh, with plenty of organic choices available.”
“We usually go to the Nokomis branch but saw the main store last week when they had a special sale event. There's a huge selection of earth-friendly goods and staples there, all of what the smaller store has plus more. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and offered advice about the beeswax wrap I bought to try out. I'd recommend either store to anyone concerned with the environment and sustainability. Yes, you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it to know you're doing your part for the planet.”
“Great Aldi location. Great selection of groceries. Prices are Aldi prices which is great. Products are well organized and easy to read.
Products were all stocked and we didn't have issues finding what we needed.
There are self-checkout stations here, which is very convenient.”
“Fantastic, most hidden GEM in Brooklyn Center!! Best Spring Rolls EVER. Super nice and friendly! The watermelon Boba is amazing!! Definitely a winner here. It's a restaurant and market! Everything made fresh!! Sesame Balla are delicious!”
“Nice place. Some of my favorite products from back home. But Everytime I go back I feel prices are higher and higher! I'm gonna have to say goodbye for now.”
“I love it here, but I wish they had security. I get approached from behind by men at my car asking for something every single time I'm walking out, no exaggeration.”

“I love Aldi's! ? It is my closest grocery store, but I would still choose to go to Aldi's either way. The amount of groceries I can get with a small amount of funds; at Aldi's versus any other grocery store, (like Cub foods, especially Whole foods/Kowalski's, or co-ops) is an insane difference!
Bonus!
There's fresh & organic produce!
There's an aisle of seasonal stuff, & actually cool items, I've gotten last minute Christmas gifts!
The only downside you could possibly say about Aldi's, is the lines, but that can be anywhere”
“Kind and efficient staff who called another location to get my husband’s prescription from another location and filled in good timing. I’m impressed me with their friendly service.”
