“Went in for oil change and to get recall fixed. Mechanics seemed honest and up front about other issues. Their shuttle service for the day really helped me out. Luis, the shuttle driver, really made my day. Overall the staff was great and work was done in timely manner.”

“Lloyd's is one of the best repair shops I've ever worked with. They are professional, courteous and they do what they say the are going to, when they say they'll do it and for the price they quoted. We are a one car family, so it's important that we have the work completed on time!
Lloyd's is probably not the cheapest place in town. However, they use high quality parts and everyone -- including the front desk folks -- knows their stuff. They go the extra mile. For example, I had 2 brake lights go out within a day. I stopped in to see if they could help. They suggested it was probably the sockets rather than the bulbs. They got me an appointment for the next morning, but, since I was driving without brake lights, Jim at the front desk went and put 2 new bulbs in at no charge while I waited. They have also warrantied parts that went bad too soon, replacing at no cost including eating the labor.
They are the real deal!”
“I normally go to Valvoline, but have had some issues with it taking FOREVER, and with them disconnecting my wiring for my lights. So today I thought I'd try the new place that has been popping up around the area. I was VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! I was offered a water when I first pulled up, everyone was very kind. The oil change was very quick and they washed my windows at the end too!

“Daughter’s car started losing power driving up Rice Street on her way home from work. Met her and we were able to limp it to the Good Neighbor Automotive parking lot after hours. We filled out the drop off request and put the key in the slot. I called at 7:30 the next morning and they were already working on it. They called back an hour later saying it was fixed! About half what I was expecting to pay. Found my new go to repair shop!”

“I've been pretty loyal to Brausen Auto, but I have had a suspicion that they are starting to really upcharge repairs in the last couple years. I looked around to other local shops, and had a great experience at Minnesota Repair. They quoted me $330 to replace the fuel tank straps on my truck. Brausen quoted me $600.Minnesota repair was able to get me in same day, but I opted for the next day (a Saturday). They had it all taken care of in 3 hours. No nonsense. They seem honest and hardworking and I really appreciate that.”

“I had been waiting nearly an hour for my roadside assistance company to help when I finally gave up on them and called for a tow. R&S was onsite in 15-20 minutes. The driver was friendly and worked quickly to get my car where it needsd to go. This kind of service is very much appreciated, especially on a freezing cold morning.”
“I came here because I needed ignition coils Installed on my truck, The service was fairly quick, and the part was quickly delivered to the Jiffy Lube location, The conversation was great. Sadly, I did see a pregnant woman working and doing oil changes. Personally, if I were pregnant, I wouldn’t be working on cars or engines or near chemicals. But you never know what someone is going through and how much they need the money. And the pregnant woman is the manager there. Of course, there are laws saying that they cannot fire pregnant women. But I do think it’s unfair that she has to breathe in the chemicals.”

“I was driving my motorcycle home from my winter storage and I got a flat tire. While waiting to be picked up, I walked around to see if I could find some sort of air option at one of the neighboring businesses. I was walking by Tom's business and startled him working after hours on his own vehicle. I told him what was happening and he said he would connect the hose to his building to help me out. I pushed the motorcycle his property and tried to fill up my tire. It was not working and he came out to check up on us. I have broken the bean (seal) and Tom grabbed some tools and started to try to help us selflessly. There were 3 different ways he attempted to fix the tire and the last one was a blast of compressed air that pushed the tire back into place. He told us about the charity work he does and his other hobbies (cars and motorcycles). He fixed it, check both the tires, and sent me on my way. I offered to pay him and I was so happy for the help, and he declined. WHAT A NICE GUY!! I do not live in the area, but I think I found my new mechanic. Thank you Tom!!
