“Easily the best gym I’ve ever belonged to! The community is great and so supportive of all fitness levels. The coaches are awesome, and the workouts are but fun. It’s easy to stay committed because of the people and the programming. The classes are different and challenging every day, so it never gets stale. I’ve been going for about 8 months and can see differences in my body composition, strength, and ability. When I started I knew very little about weight training, the coaches and group support have changed all of that and I’m now in the best shape of my life.”

“Can’t recommend this place enough! Don’t wait any longer and come check it out :) The coaches are amazing and 45 minutes won’t take up much of your day. Every workout is different with lots of variety and a good balance of both cardio and strength. “I have been attending Defy workout classes for about a year and a half now. It has been a fantastic experience. The workouts are challenging and include a lot of variety - never boring.The trainers have always been extremely friendly, motivating and helpful in their instruction, making sure we use correct form, while always helping us to maximize the workout.Our current instructor, Grant, is extremely friendly, helpful and fun. I always leave feeling I had a good workout and was glad I came. It's always good to look forward to a workout rather than dreading it! Grant and the other participants are always friendly and supportive.I highly recommend the West St. Paul location, as well as the Defy class specifically.”

“I highly recommend trying Pilates by Norma Jean Kelly. She is caring, enthusiastic, dedicated and makes working out feel fun! She's friendly, personable, and gets excited with me as I progress in my skills. Norma Jean is exceptionally patient. When I ask a lot of questions she explains everything thoroughly. I had worked with other trainers and Norma Jean outclasses them all. My sessions with Norma Jean have become a highlight of my week since the pandemic and she continues to be a strong supporter of my well being. My mood, strength, endurance, and balance have improved. She has also helped me deal with a past injury. Plus, I've lost 10 lbs and have kept it off after almost a year. Norma Jean is an outstanding Pilates instructor!”

“I've been going to CrossFit Woodbury for over 4 years now. I have trained at chain gyms, martial arts studios, and experimented with purchasing home equipment in the past. I haven't ever experienced the sense of community or had instructors as knowledgeable anywhere else.The gym has enough space, the equipment is not only sound, but also there is enough of it. The support group of people that train here including the coach, Matt, and the community really make it easy to get myself to the gym after work! I have yet to experience a place like this that actually makes me feel like they care about my goals, wellbeing, and overall satisfaction with the training I am receiving. I feel as though I am not just another person to make money off of.I would hands down recommend this gym to anyone looking to lose weight, get stronger, train for a specific sport, or make the transition to CrossFit like I did. This is the place to do it!”

“Shout out to Zack for being available for questions!This tucked away gym was surprisingly spacious with a variety of equipment. The showers were some of the only really handicapable I've seen with decent pressure. ?This is also the only gym I've seen with a tanning bed, according to staff "I believe that's for home gym members only, though if you speak to the manager that might be able to arranged."This gym is proof you can put an Anytime, anyplace.”

“My son went here 2-3 years ago but quit due to our lives getting busy with other activities. He decided he wanted to come back and it's been only a week but he's happy he came back! All the coaches are great and super supportive, they always think of cool obstacles to makes the kids better athletes. Scott and Jacob do a great job and my kid loves going to classes they teach. It's a great place to get in shape as well, they have classes for kids and adults. Only downside: prices per month... it's $99 month to month or $79 month to month with a year commitment. I know they don't have a choice due to the inflation of everything but it makes it hard to stick around for a really long time unless my kid is very serious about it.”

A little out of my price range, but if it can help improve my kiddos strengths and weaknesses while being motivated and healthy, we will try for a few months. “I love group fitness, and have attended thousands of classes at dozens of studios with many instructors over the last 20+ years, and Tanya has stood out as my favorite.  I took Pilates with her for about 5 years before she opened her own studio -- Bodyshop.  This one-stop Bodyshop is a dream come true, with a huge variety of classes, workouts, and equipment.  You get the kind of individual attention as from a personal trainer, but in a more affordable and approachable setting.  Tanya has continuously pushed and challenged me while maintaining a light-hearted and fun atmosphere.  Check out this woman-owned independent business.  No matter your fitness level, you will get a great workout and you won't regret it!”

I have been learning a lot about science behind fitness routine/workouts from her and I have been applying that knowledge to develop fitness programs for Cricket players. She does a great job with following up with you to make sure you are putting the work outside the gym also. I highly recommend Tiger Training and Family Fitness.”
