“I had to interact with three different associates today and they were all friendly and helpful. Highlight for the day was the propane refill which was significantly cheaper than exchanging a tank.”

“Amber in building materials/millwork was amazing, if not, top notch. She helped us plan out our stairs, down to the screws. Most knowledgeable employee we have ever encountered at any Menards.”

“I'm putting 4 stars since home Depot is my go and usually has everything I need with easy in and out and a helpful app. Employees are generally knowledgeable and helpful.I'm writing to caution about the lumber experience I had.-I purchased some ply wood off the shelf and had it cut in the back area, no problem there.I then went to pay and found that the price of the wood was 50 dollars more than what the price tag connected to the shelf said. Now granted I'm not a lumber expert, and there was no lumber employee in sight, so I used my best judgement and assumed the price was the tag that was attached to the shelf it was on. That assumption was unfortunately incorrect despite being the case that the label corresponding to the shelf is what you expect in almost any other retail situation.Granted I had already had the cut made, so I asked for someone in lumber who could help me understand, or perhaps there was a mistake. They came over and explained that the tag is for the lumber beneath, and then stated that this mistake happens very frequently and has resulted in lots of returns. They stated there was nothing they could do and that I would need to complete a return on the wood and then choose the one that I wanted knowing how pricing works and act accordingly. They did apologize as well but could tell they where defensive as they had heard this critique many times.Constructive feedback:1. The employee that explained this to me said that there is nothing they can do about the price tagging despite all the returns and confusion they admitted to. Maybe they are correct, so management/corporate, this is your queue to do something, since obviously there is something you can do about price placement.2. If by some weird anomaly you can't change pricing placement, maybe have employees present that can point this out. Or maybe have a price confirmation check when cutting or any other point where suitable.I bought the board because it was needed for my project. I just can't help but feel like this is something home Depot can do something about given the clearly frequent feedback. Seems like a personnel/training or price placement change that could prevent people from feeling bait and switched despite that we "should have known" or should have "known to ask".”

“Our first experiences buying appliances here. We were looking for a deeper fridge as ours was counter depth. We found a Samsung on line Mega Capacity 31 cubic ft for $1499 that had been $2399 .So on a whim jumped in the car Sunday night 1/28 as they were open till 8 pm The store department serviced by Bill N that night. When we arrived we saw the fridge marked down to $1299! Are you kidding me? 31 cu. ft and designed with handles that allowed us to get a bigger fridge that was in a tight corner and would allow door to open fully! By opening Home Depot line of credit got another $100 off. It has double ice bin making cubes and nugget size; an ice scoop, inside water feature and fingerprint resistant stainless Too good to be true?? Not in this case! Bill was outstanding and got the fridge entered for delivery and completed sale in 20 minutes. It is a stunning sleek French door; double lower drawers and fridge and delivery/install seamless by the crew on 2/2 and relocated our old fridge to garage to use there for just $40. A deal too good to pass up! Bill N charming, well trained and friendly! Thank you Bill and delivery for getting this beauty into our home!”

“I didn't mean to buy an Ego 28" snow blower and the Power Nexus tonight, but I did, and I have Steve to "blame".I think more people that have bad experiences write reviews than people that have good experience so hopefully this helps offset that. Joking aside, I do have to say that Steve provided outstanding customer service. From the time that he greeted us, to answering questions during small, product related talk, to selling us the product, helping me convince myself to buy another product, and finally, to helping us load the Ego snowblower. Furthermore while planning how to load the snowblower into my unprepared van he considered passanger safety, caution about scratching the vehicle, and even considering cleaning the bird poop off of the box before putting it in our car. I went to just look at the 28" Ego snow blower in person and I ended up buying it plus the power nexus. Even though it was kind of an impulse purchase, I had a really good experience doing it.”
