They communicate communicated any concerns immediately before proceeding with work. When the job was done, the bill was exactly what they quoted me. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you!”

“Cute little gas station, always clean and neat. Has many options for snacks and drinks. Customer service is always friendly and helpful. They also provide free air if you need to top off your tires. Only criticism, parking is a bit complicated and the store can feel a little crowded. Otherwise I would give it a 5 star.”

“I never really write reviews but this Short Stop has always been my favorite gas station in Duluth. Not only because of the selection but also the people who work there. Last night I went in there and they removed their water machine ? it’s not a big deal, but you can’t get water anymore without buying a plastic bottle… kinda sad we can’t access free water in gas stations anymore, but I’m sure there was good reasoning for it. Wish they would have kept it but made it so you’d have to purchase the cup/bring in your own.”

“This location is always busy. They need more handicap parking. Always well stocked and prices clearly marked. For as busy as they are, the cashiers and other personnel are always pleasant. Quick service too. The store and parking lot are kept clean which is greatly appreciated. Fuel prices seem to be on the higher side, but fill ups are very convenient. Car wash area is across the street.”

“Such a vibrant and cheerful crew! I visited at 9:15pm on a Saturday night. Just after blowing up my tire on 35, then getting it fixed by a shop just around the corner. I had a five hour drive home ahead of me. This Kwik trip was so amazing! The staff were so cheerful and absolutely hilarious!!! Ryan was an absolute hoot! He was cracking jokes with my family and was so good and customer service! He seriously brings that good ole Kwik Trip feel to that store! I am from a place with no Kwik Trips and I miss them so much! This is my all time new favorite location! Of course, when I asked if they had a place for me to leave reviews, Ryan said to make sure I include that he is pretty! So, Ryan I hope you see this lol!!! Another top tier employee at the location is Zaine! They were absolutely awesome at their job! I am totally in love and will stay loyal to this location for a while!”

“My absolute favorite gas station and convenience store for over 2 decades. Management is consistently very dedicated and customer service oriented. Their chicken wings are delicious (at least for me). In case of emergency you can find everything you need quickly. Their reward system is the most competitive amongst other gas station/convenience stores. Clean place, great people. Love it with all my heart!”

“I was having some problems when visiting this store but the owner stepped in and made it right. He went out of his way to do it too. I've never seen a business go that far to make something right. I will be recommending this store for sure.”

“I am SO grateful for the new store lead Heather that started a few weeks ago. Before her arrival to replace the prior store lead, this location was not keeping the chicken stocked at random times of the day. I stopped twice for chicken strips midday only to be told that the fryers had been shut down with no explanation as to why. I don’t want cold food when I get home so I forget telling me to backtrack to another location lol it’s funny to me that employees at so many stores don’t realize that customers have the internet in their pocket at all times and that some of us are comfortable calling corporate for help while we’re standing inside the store! I for one am ecstatic to see a new lead here that upholds policy. Maybe the next time I want my high carb cheat treat meal, I can actually get it here thanks to Heather :)”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

The truck stop company will upgrade its stores through its Strategic Remodel Initiative, which started in 2022. Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
