“All coin operated. Change machine available. Very fair pricing $4 for 35 minute wash and $1 for 29 minute dry. Counter staff is amazingly friendly and professional. I forgot to put my sweatshirt into my front loaded washer before I started it and the nice lady behind the counter let me wash that for free in a different washer. The facility is clean and has a great music selection playing overhead while waiting for your clothes to be done. Close to Fairview hospital (I walked there).”
“Change machines give a mixture of tokens and quarters. No option to just get quarters unless you're changing one dollar or five dollar bills. Be aware, some machines ONLY take quarters. (Cheapest dryers) Very little signage on this. I was surprised by it. ?
That said, the washing machines are efficient. The cheap dryers don't dry a medium load in one cycle, but you can add a quarter while it's running and get 2 more minutes when you press start again... Cheaper to let it finish it's cycle and start again.
The snack prices seem reasonable (.75¢ for little bag Fritos - they're sometimes $1.25). Drinks are $2. Steep if they're cans. Reasonable if they're bottles. There is free Wi-Fi advertised, which I did not use.
There is a coin push game machine which looks like you can win cash, but those machines rarely pay out.
TVs are set to fox 9 and whatever channel plays the Peoples Court. Idk if these channels change or not. All in all, I got my clothes clean for not too much $.”
