Once Upon a Child Rochester is a store that buys and sells gently used clothing, shoes, furniture, toys, and baby gear. Customers can clean out their child's closet and sell items for payment on the spot. While many shoppers appreciate the chance to save up to 70% off mall prices, there have been mixed reviews about the store's operations and product quality. Some customers feel the selection of items has declined, noting that many products on the sales floor appear stained or torn. There are concerns about the buying process, particularly that items brought in for sale may not meet the relaxed standards observed while shopping. Additionally, customers express disappointment that items must be neatly folded upon arrival but are not returned in the same condition. While some shoppers found the store organized with good deals, others mentioned higher prices than expected for used items. Customer service experiences varied, with some reporting friendly staff while others overheard negative conversations about items being considered for purchase. Long wait times for selling items have also been highlighted as a concern, suggesting a need for a more efficient system. Overall, while Once Upon a Child Rochester offers a valuable service, there are several areas for improvement based on customer feedback.
I brought some of my gently used kids clothes. They were timely and very eager to help

Well organized, but a little expensive for second hand stuff.

Sent me and my four year old down to dollar general to buy something there so they wouldn't have to break my 100. Lazy, poor customer service, not even a discount after still coming back to purchase. Ill be going to children's exchange from now on, a whole lot more options at alot better price. AND THEY TAKE 100S 🤡
