“I have a new favorite auto body shop! After a mishap with a new driver, I had a scrape with some dented grooves on my new (less than a year old after spending a year on a waitlist) van. I got multiple reviews, and nearly all of them told me that I had to replace entire panels and all surrounding parts. It sounded a lot like someone telling me that I had to entirely replace my drywall for a few nail holes. Northland reviewed the damage, was able to fix it without disassembling half my van, and have it back to me in just under 3 days for a significantly more reasonable price. So grateful, and a new huge fan!”

“I had some aggravating bumper scars on my Chevy Volt from a parking-lot hit-and-run. After getting an estimate from a USAA-approved shop I took it in at the appointed dropoff time, only to be told that they weren’t qualified to work on plug-in cars—even though this work was nowhere near any high voltage. They referred me to another shop, which gave me an estimate (after a 3-day wait for an appointment). However, they didn’t seem interested in such a small job (and said they’d need the car for a week), so I passed on that one.After seeing the Apple Valley MN CARSTAR as another approved shop on USAA’s website, I called them. They got me in for an estimate right away ($300 less than the other two), and said they’d need the car for 3-4 days and would call with appointment options (predicted to be in a couple of weeks).The promised call came quickly; they said they had a cancellation and could get me in the next morning (a Tuesday). I brought it in, and they gave me a ride home, so I didn’t need to arrange that.The work was done by that Thursday afternoon, and the bumper looks like new again. (Plus, they returned the car cleaner than when I brought it in, inside and out.) Highly recommended; they’re now my “go-to” shop should I be unfortunate enough to need bodywork again.”

“After my suv was hit by a semi while I was at work end of September, I couldn't get an appointment through the dealership for over 2 weeks. And even that was just for the estimate. A separate appointment would then be made for a different date to start the repairs. So I was looking out 2 plus months. Also the hassle of emailing and dealing with the trucking company's insurance (since they were responsible).Never been in a situation like this and was recommended to Trail Autobody & Marine by my Avon lady.Let me just say, from the minute I walked in the door, Shannon was ready to help. She basically took over from there for me. Because of her, the back and forth with the trucking company was all handled through her. I was able to get into a rental quicker, and they took my vehicle in. She kept me up to date in the emails and let me know what was going on.I was thinking it was going to drag on into winter but, I just picked my vehicle up today! “I could not be happier with my experience with StraightLine Customs. I became the owner of this 1969 Camaro in 1983 when I turned 16. It was a mess at that point, but I loved the car.
