“Not only are these the most knowledgeable people in the business, they’re also the kindest and most helpful. Between myself and my parents, we’ve taken four cats (multiple with special medical needs) to Parkview over the years, and we’ve yet to find anywhere else as gentle, thorough, and knowledgable. They have consistantly provided us with top-notch care, free samples of percription diet food to try, and painless refearls to specalists. With near perfect reviews, I never felt the need to write my own five-star review, but after yesterday’s experience, it would be kind of insane not to. It was the kind of day that only would ever happen to me (or perhaps Charlie Chaplin). We took my cat, Leon, in for a visit and after we returned to the parking lot, we found that the car had died. Multiple staff members helped us to try to jump-start the car (it didn’t take, but I’m incredibly greatful none the less). While we waited for a friend to show up in their car, they let us hang out in the waiting room and offered us snacks and drinks. After assistance showed up, we were transfering things betweens cars and Leon managed to bust the zipper on his carrier, esaped, and was loose on the strip. The receptionist saw and multiple people ran outside to help heard and collect him. We got him, he’s totally fine if you were worried. The whole experience was so incredibly humbling — I’m probably the biggest pain in the ass that ever walked through their doors — but I am so so so greatful to everyone who never hesitated to help us. I swear undying fealty to Parkview Cat Clinic. In their hour of need, I will ride under their banner.”

“Lexington Pet Clinic is the best vet around. All of the veterinarians and techs are kind to the animals and the support staff is always helpful. You can tell they love their job. When I bring my Boxers in they are gentle and take a lot of time to make sure the dog is comfortable and relaxed. Not only are they great with my dogs but I work with a rescue and we bring 99% of our rescue dogs to them and they are so wonderful with the dogs and great at explaining everything they are doing to the fosters. Look no further for a vet. You won't be disappointed.”

“I've been going here for a little bit now since I've gotten my new cat. All of the staff there are so kind and knowledgeable. They call back and email back super fast. They've been very helpful with links and products to help my cat adjust to his new home and I will definitely continue to go there! The prices aren't outrageous and very reasonable for nail trims, vaccines, etc. they didn't push to get him all vaccinated either on his first visit and were very honest. They even remembered that I was interested in the feelaway products and when they got some donated they called me and put some aside so I can pop in and grab them :) the parking lot is pretty small though, but thats not a big deal unless you have a huge car lol. Love them and definitely recommend!!!”

We primarily see Dr. Borka, and if not her, then Dr. Jones, and both are absolute gems. They are extraordinarily knowledgeable and patient and truly go the extra mile, literally getting down on the floor to interact with my pets at their level. Their recommendations are always grounded and well-reasoned; I have never once felt pressured into unnecessary procedures. Whenever treatment options arise, they take the time to clearly outline the risks and benefits, empowering me to make the absolute best decisions for my pets' care. The entire team makes you feel like family, but two team members deserve special recognition: Kyja is a complete sweetheart, so patient, gentle, and welcoming every single time we come in. Ashley A. holds a very special place in our hearts. She supported us through some of the absolute darkest days when we lost our 14-year-old Golden Retriever, Seger. Every single visit, no matter how busy she was, Ashley would step away from whatever she was doing just to greet Seger, and he adored her. She was right there with us the day we had to say goodbye, and her tears were so genuine. I will never, ever forget that kindness. “I have been going to Valley View for years, both for my personal pets and the foster animals at the rodent rescue I run. They see my cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and rodents. All told I probably bring over a hundred animals per year to them for everything from well checks, sick visits, surgery, emergencies, and euthanasias. They have truly seen it all! The staff has always been thoughtful, courteous, and attentive. I usually see Dr Alisha Anderson who is wonderful but Dr Larry and Dr Rachel are great vets too. I recommend this clinic to all of my adopters and I highly recommend them for you, too!”

Unfortunately, nothing could be done for Rocky, but they were so knowledgeable about the breed and assured me that I was doing the right thing in not making him suffer in any way. “I can’t adequately express the thanks my wife and I have for Dr. Birch, the techs and the office staff at SMAEC for quickly addressing a difficult situation we found ourselves in with our 4-year old Bernese Mountain Dog, Lucy a week ago. The evening after some scheduled surgery at our regular vet she began hemorrhaging blood out of her incision site. The techs and Dr. Birch were honest with the situation we faced but ready to address it aggressively if we wanted. We did, and they did. Long story short after about an hour of exploratory surgery Dr. Birch found the bleeder and addressed it. Because of the skills and tenacity of the staff that night we’re able to be enjoying Lucy’s never-ending tail wagging and licks today. We appreciate you all.”

But the tech was very calm, slow and did an amazing job with my dog. Held him gently, but firmly and talked nice to him. My dog was very nervous I could see him shaking from across the room and he didn't even growl at him. Didn't get the tech's name, but was very impressed.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Apple Valley Banfield saved my dog’s life! We brought in our middle-aged rescue mix for a routine nail trim and anal gland expression. During the procedure, the vet tech noticed something unusual and immediately brought it to the attention of the veterinarian. They recommended a biopsy, and Banfield went above and beyond to help us move up our renewal so the biopsy could be done at the same time as his dental cleaning while under anesthesia. That decision made all the difference. The biopsy revealed an aggressive form of colon cancer — but because it was caught so early, our dog was able to have surgery and complete chemo treatments through a specialist vet. Banfield has continued to be an incredible partner, coordinating closely with the oncology team and providing regular checkups to support his recovery. He just finished his last round of chemo, and we’re now moving into the monitoring stage. I will always be grateful to the Apple Valley Banfield team for their attentiveness, quick action, and genuine care. Without them, we would never have caught this in time.”
