“I want to start by saying that we come here often, and in general have gotten great service, and like the products. There’s one issue I can’t shake. There’s an employee in Millwork, short white hair. She’s more in the windows/doors side. She has never been helpful, and the last time I went in, she was unhelpful, rude, and wrong. I went to another Menards and got the product she swore up and down they had never carried (even though my SO literally bought them at the BP store the week before). So, perhaps seek out another worker in that department. I’m a former Menards (different location) and long time retail worker giving this review.”
“We were frustrated and had just come from a Lowe's where the store employee was unhelpful and made a rude and sexist comment to my fiancee.
Mason from the Brooklyn Park Home Depot, on the other hand, gave us exceptional service, even better than I was expecting. He was very cordial and knowledgable, and gave us a great electric mower recommendation. Thanks again, Mason! I was really annoyed by that Lowe's employee and you totally turned my frustration around.”
“A gentleman who I think worked in home and garden provided such exceptional service. I could help believe it. Even pushed my court and helped me find all the items I needed all over the store.

“I recently purchased several end tables from Reuse. The tables were dated and that is exactly what I was looking for. They were in great condition, and very affordable. The store is easy to browse in, very clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. I will shop there again when more selection of sofa's arrive. I only wish Reuse had their own delivery service. Great store!”
“Great location, great staff! I did once experience a staffer going customer to customer to give a long spiel about water heaters that were on sale. That was super annoying. And sometimes the prices are a little higher than average.”
“Most of the employees are great! I had an encounter with a woman working the service desk that was not great but hey everyone has a bad day :) Great prices, but sometimes hard to find help and employees in the floor. Wouldn't recommend getting a Christmas tree there....they made my daughter and I bag it and put it on our car.”
“I have never been to this store before, and right off I got the help from everyone who worked there, and from that, I could tell that they knew their job. Unfortunately though I had to reverse my transaction the next day, and I didn’t have 100% trust in what I was told-you will get the full refund, I think the manager, Terry sensed it, and he told me ‘trust the process’, meaning to trust them….sure enough, I got a call, a couple of hrs later and an email from the manager, Amber at millwork Dept, saying that I would receive a full refund. I also noticed that she copied the email to Mr. Terry as well, I am guessing that he wanted to make sure that I was taken care of… this meant a lot to me for various reason which I will not go into…The Menards company should be proud of its employees….people like these are hard to come by theses days…. Thank you, Terry, and Amber.”
“Ibrahim and Will are two employees that I interacted with this week at Eden Prairie Home Depot. Will cut blinds for me and was very prompt, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable. He had a real friendly demeanor. I thanked him for his excellent customer service. Then I went to the self checkout and had more great service. Ibrahim rang me up at the self checkout, and did it all for me! Then he put the three bags of salt that I purchased in my cart. I was floored!! I’ve not had such cordial service like this for a long time! Thanks, guys!! Hope you get a raise! Home Depot is lucky to have you both.”
“Great location, well supplied, and ample parking. Staff is generally friendly and helpful, but the checkout process was a bit bumpy. The card machine, which apparently was a known issue from the employee that responded to help, kept rejecting my chip read, then finally accepteda swipe with the employee's assistance. The management or owner should address this, as it has seemingly been a problem for quite some time. Interestingly, it became a teaching tool for the employee who was training someone. My transaction also included a military discount, which showed the trainee that aspect, as well. Kudos to Home Depot for honoring those of us who have served, and would ask this location to add veteran parking signs outfront, as other locations have done. The cost is minimal, and the message and public display is a powerful statement of where the organization stands. Plus, many of our older service members would be grateful for the proximity to the door, as they do not sign up for handicap access, due to military grit and pride..”

“I had purchased paint for our house. When I got home I realized the can did not have the sticker which identified the color and when I opened the can I discovered it was not the paint I had ordered. I took the can back to the paint department who were able to figure out that the color that was mixed was spiced berry not the spiceberry I wanted. They quickly remixed the correct color for me at no charge which was greatly appreciated at the cost of paint these days.”
“Large store with 2 floors. Well stocked, well lit, with employees available to assist you There's pretty much everything car and truck related products. Too many items to mention.
Open late, with well stocked aisles.”
“I placed an online order for 30 bags of mulch. I had to wait a bit while someone at returns was being helped. All and all my wait time was about 15 minutes before I could drive out and have the mulch loaded in my pickup. When I got home I found I was one bag short. It's a good idea to count along with the associate. I received credit for one bag.”
“I was a bit surprised that blinds weren't closer to windows and doors, but fortunately I was walking down the right aisle and stumbled across them. Found what I was looking for to decide which blinds I wanted to buy.”
“I have been going to this Home Depot for two years and have been satisfied after every visit. They have a wide selection of products available and if it is not in store you can have it shipped in. It is also so convenient to set a pick up, where they have everything you need ready for you! I also love the Home Depot website as it tells you which aisle and bay the product was in so I do not have to wander around the store looking for what I need! The staff here have also been super helpful meeting my needs - whether it be to cut wood, find a product, or make a key. They have been very kind and willing to work with me. This store has ample parking and dollie's and carts to help you load your vehicle!”
