“This is a great store. Has some of the best prices for flowers and potted plants. The parking sometimes sucks.

“My wife and I visited Addis Market as part of making sure we have ingredients for cooking Ethiopian food at home. The store keeper is very friendly and helpful with beginner questions. The market has a good variety of lentils and spices and two kinds of electric mitads (griddles for cooking injera) and a variety of Ethiopian coffee and prepared injera and Ethiopian wheat loaves. We will visit again.”
“Between this place and Tim and Tom’s, St. Anthony Park has absolutely nailed the adorable, community-driven, grocery vibe. Excellent selection for the size, nice to go items, lovely staff, easy enough parking, and prices are competitive for a co-op. I love that stops at Hampden are a regular part of my week.”

“I've been a member for years and I generally really enjoy shopping here.
That said, I just witnessed a front end coordinator who was in the store shopping open up a checkout lane for himself despite the fact that there were several people waiting at the one checkout that was open.
He just ignored the line of people and plopped his groceries down at another lane and then an employee showed up and started checking him out.
The person behind me saw what happened and kindly let me go ahead of her at the newly opened checkout lane because I had been waiting longer than she had.

“The NYT recently posted a Peruvian chicken recipe, and I found this nice store when I went looking for ingredients. The owner was so nice, gave me some great tips, and introduced me to a few things I had never used before. The dinner that I served was amazing, and I’m so glad to have found this great business!”

“I come here just for the meat skewers. Just off the green line. Where else can you randomly get one BBQ pork skewer ($3.50), one sweet pork skewer ($1.50), one chicken wing skewer ($2), and sticky rice in a bamboo tube ($3) on a whim for lunch?”

“Get the food here. The salsas and guac in the fridge. All your seasonings. It’s amazing. The food is affordable and so tasty. And they are very generous with the portions. We’ve gotten the enchiladas verde from the food counter as well as a couple pounds of birria on the weekends and the food never misses. I love their spicy green salsa cremiosa and the salsa molcajete. So just try it, and thank me later!”
“The food here is legit. So far I've tried the Pad Kra Pao, Eggrolls and pad Thai. Their Pad Thai is hands down the best Pad Thai I've had in the twin cities and brings me back to Thailand every time I have it. Meat is cooked perfectly, tons of flavor and they throw a little tofu into the mix.
I love spice and typically always order the spiciest option restaurants have available. Prime and On's are the only places I've found in the twin cities where I go down a spice level. If you're trying to decide between two I'd recommend going down a level.
The only downside is it's relatively expensive compared to other options nearby but portions are really decent and it's worth it.
Ordering in person or calling to order and paying cash helps avoid the credit card fee they automatically charge when you order online.
Definitely best as a takeout spot but they do have some outdoor and indoor seating and a variety of drinks that aren't all on their online menu which isn't always accurate.

“This was a pretty cool spot! I liked the variety of fruits they had and other items you can get. I stopped in a while ago to grab a deli item, steam rolls, and it was decent and the portion is pretty generous.
If you tend to get overwhelmed easily I would not come here. The route to get here is confusing and the parking lot is terrible. There are soooo many potholes and there are no parking lines so you kind of guess if that is a spot or maybe leave with a few door dings. Another thing is the check out area: there isn’t a spot that says “Line forms here” so customers create multiple lines. When you are done checking out, you have to go against the flow of people and that is a bit awkward.”
“Great neighborhood market. Fresh produce, always have ripe ready to go avocados all year long, and solid pantry staples section (beans, salsa, local made corn tortillas, just found so baked tostadas that were great). Staff is friendly and helpful in English or Spanish.”

“I've shopped in Mississippi market for many years and I just love it. My favorite is the one on Selby and Dale. Not huge so you don't need a map to shop The produce is beautifully fresh and all the food is wonderful. They have a few gifts and a nice personal care section with vitamins as well. They have bulk foods. They have a little deli.”
