“Great Local Butcher Shop & Deli! Great selection of reasonably priced meats, BBQ items including wood chips, chunks and pellets alone with nice deli selection and the Sandwiches will blow your mind! Also want to note that it looked like a lot of the products they carry like the sauces & marinades are local products. We were there on a busy Saturday and the staff were amazing. Great attitudes even with being slammed at the time. Everyone was very helpful, attentive and willing to answer all your questions. Worth the drive and we'll definitely be back. They've gained two more devoted fans/customers.”

“I started going there when I found out my butcher from another store was working there. Everyone talks about the steaks, they’re fabulous , every cut & kind. They’re sausages you can’t beat. Now let’s talk the hamburger!! You will never get a better pound of ground beef ANYWHERE. The flavor is outstanding. I guarantee if you try just one pound you’ll be hooked. I buy 25-30# at a time. It can be in my freezer for 6-mos & it as red as when it was ground. It lasts in the fridge far longer than any other ground beef I’ve had. Keep it up guys!!!”

“The best hamburger meat and filet mignon. They also had twice-baked potatoes and mac and cheese ready to put in the oven before heating. Very great customer service, too.”

“My go to meat shop for special occasions and every day dinners. All the employees are helpful and patient with my indecision. Double smoked ham is my favorite and my family always ask for it.”

“If they have it, it's cheaper than any where else in the twin cities. HUGE wine selection and the bourbon selection is big too. They had bottles you won't find elsewhere and commons at bargain prices. They're knowledgeable and nice. Stop here first, you'll be glad you did.”

“The NYT recently posted a Peruvian chicken recipe, and I found this nice store when I went looking for ingredients. The owner was so nice, gave me some great tips, and introduced me to a few things I had never used before. The dinner that I served was amazing, and I’m so glad to have found this great business!”

“I'm not sure if this is a Mexican or a Latin grocery store but they have lots of items I remember from growing up. I used to think everyone had rice and beans with all their meals. Memories.”

“I've shopped in Mississippi market for many years and I just love it. My favorite is the one on Selby and Dale. Not huge so you don't need a map to shop The produce is beautifully fresh and all the food is wonderful. They have a few gifts and a nice personal care section with vitamins as well. They have bulk foods. They have a little deli.”

“I LOVE this little neighborhood store. Not only is it famous for its meat department but somehow they manage to stock all of the things you might need in your house. And the prices are really reasonable. Convenience store ease with big box prices. I don't know how they do it but I'm a huge fan!!”

“Kenyan friends were super excited to find products and spices they've been missing. The shopkeeper was helpful in showing them products they might not have noticed but that he knew others from their area enjoyed. Parking on the south side of the building, towards 94, made it easy to stop in.”

“I shop here often and I like ? it. The only small issue is that there are no prices on the stuff they sell. You have to ask them each time to scan something. It's not a big deal, though. Check my family-friendly YouTube channel JacobAndDad subscribe to support us”

“I go here regularly and speak very little Spanish and still get very good service. They are a small store and as of recently business has been slower for a lot of Latino owned businesses so having a lot of old stock is expected but could still be managed better from the looks of other reviews. That being said I have been purchasing from this store for almost two years and have never received anything spoiled or expired. They have a very good meat selection, the tamales are great and I usually buy extras to freeze for a later date and I am met with a smile almost always. Give more small stores like this a shot, establishments like THIS are what makes us a great country. As far as price goes sometimes things can be spendy if you’re comparing to Walmart but reasonable if you’re comparing to Cub, Whole Foods or Hyvee, but the price of Chicken did go up here which has lead me to shop here less.”
