“IT DOESNT MATTER WHICH ST PAUL BOXES YOU PUT YOUR MAIL IN. ALL OUTGOING MAIL GOES TO THE PLANT IN EAGAN TO BE SORTED. ALSO, CARRIERS HAVE TO PICK UP THE BOXES DAILY. THEY WONT GO HOME UNTILL THEY DO. Maybe get an idea on the process before making accusations.”

“I have gone to this post office twice when I have had trouble with missing packages. I have always been greeted so warmly and had my issues resolved quickly. John at the counter looked for my missing package until he found it and educated me on why it had been held (weather-related issues) - all with a very cheerful attitude. When I need help with the postal service, I will go here first!”
“Elway post office is the main post office we use. The desk staff is great and genuinely wants to help- they're really patient with me (I'm a headache with all my questions haha). If you want the cheaper way, faster way, have no clue of what way, explanation of international shipping, whatever- they'll help.
This is a fairly busy location so you might bump into a long line. Sometimes it moves quickly, sometimes very slow. Be prepared to wait if you're in line- it's because they're giving the proper patient attention to each customer and they'll give you the same!

There are PO boxes available in the lobby (separate area from the desk area)- the hours are the same as the desk area (closed on Sunday).
I've never felt unsafe and accessibility is good with a lowered counter available for wheelchairs though most of the counters are too high for my wheelchair. They do need more lowered counter space for wheelchair accessibility.”

“For the most part I really like this post office but the fact they can never take cash because they don’t have exact change drives me absolutely crazy! From what I’ve gathered they start the day with basically no money in the till so if it’s a slow day or even if it wasn’t and most people used cards you are SOL. An organization like the post office should ALWAYS be able to take cash. I understand from working in retail that occasionally weird days can mess up the till but this is a very persistent issue and it is unacceptable.”
“I inquired about a piece of certified mail to the clerk on duty. She tried locating it but was not found.The same clerk called her supervisor to assist, and she gave me the signature of receipt card to sign ahead of time, assuring delivery and saving many steps. Great service across the boards!!!!”
“We needed to go in person to verify it's really us changing address. It literally took 2 mins. Most of that was me explaining and trying to get my email open. Lol. Very friendly and professional.”

“After moving back to St. Paul I started using the Concordia Ave Post office. The staff were ALL helpful and wonderful. Sometimes staffing levels were a bit sparse but predicting what customer demand will be at any given time is quite difficult. The staff still roll with it and get the job done!”
“Post offices often get a bad rap, but props to this one as they have a ROCK STAR customer service supervisor Kathy! I had a lost / missing package that has been sold to someone and they want a refund because it stopped showing Tracking info~ {this is a SPECIAL RONALDO ⚽️ Jersey} stressful,would be so sad to lose this-
all said and done I don’t have the location of the package yet—but I got instructions on next steps. I wasn’t blown off or rushed out- Kathy was so kind, informative, patient and friendly!! Yes at the POST OFFICE!! ?
The first agent was very kind and warm as well. Highly recommend this to be your go to mail SPOT! ????

“Many of the other reviews here talk about how delayed their shipments are when they arrive here, so I was initially worried too, until I checked my parcel and I didn't have any issues with delays.
I'd say it's likely because those who got their parcels with no delay don't usually bother to write a review. So I'll just post this to reassure folk your parcel's likely in good hands.”
