“Family owned and they are literally the coolest family ever.. So cheerful and definitely a sense of humor... They got pretty much everything you need as far as drinks, sweets, and road trip stuff... Not bad priced either... Just overall love Petrichs!!!”
“In today's world it's unbelievably refreshing to know there's still ppl with genuine hearts.
I showed up right at closing unknowingly, and instead of telling me to kick rocks the owner or staff member accommodated me.
A true mom & pop shop experience full of extended courtesy!
Whether your a long time local or visitor passing through be sure to support the local businesses!
They need our help & our communities need them.
Thank you for your generosity tonight.”
“If you're driving down the road with a good buzz and you don't want to lose it but you also need gas and a candy bar But the weak has you looking down the neck of a bottle of fireball Ron's corner is your place One stop shop”
“This is your typical Walmart store with all the typical pluses and minuses. It's big, lots of inventory but not a lot of choices of any single item. Prices tend to be low but not on everything.I needed some pool supplies and although they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, I was able to buy a couple things and make what I need.”

“A convenient store with gas pumps on a large lot on busy hwy 2 seems to be mostly a Minnesota and Wisconsin chain of stores to compete with the Kwiker. Can't miss the green and yellow scheme, the pumps will ask questions before you can refuel. I am not sure why all these stations in upstate Mn ask so many questions..and again guys, no I am not a member and don't have a card!Inside we have the usual clean well organized convenience store with plenty of take out options hot or cold. It's really getting hard to tell Lucky Seven from Holiday from Cenex from Caseys, you get the idea. At least we know what to expect. If you think they are all clean and look the same, travel to a southern state, like Oklahoma and stop in to a Circle K, whoa not in Minnesota anymore.”
“First of all the name of the town is Taconite (all one word) which describes an ore that comes out of the ground used to make steel. Second, Taconite is a quaint little town and I was there for karaoke at the Taconite Legion Club and included was an ugly Christmas Sweater contest. Ot was a fun visit.”
