“While on MN60 to and from Mankato, see the Odin sign, always want to stop and finally did. Cool little town with a big name. The mural on the old buildings is pretty neat. Went in the grocery and Cafe. Worth it. Owner was very nice. Was able to get breakfast even though breakfast was over. Looking forward to stopping again for lunch. It's just a neat little place, if that's what you like, stop in Odin.”
“They were very understanding and able to work with me when my debit card had issues because of the bank server being down. I always find their staff to be friendly and helpful.”
“Trimont Town Center is a non-profit grocery store, a liquor store and an Ace Hardware store. Their gas station includes pumps for semis. The grocery store has a good little deli, with rotating menu, including chicken or turkey pie & specials; a couple of tables. GLUTEN FREE end-cap includes flour, crackers, etc; check freezers & you’ll find at least 2 GF meals or pizzas at all times. Meat department has good steaks as well as great prices on pork chops! (People from Twin Cities have been known to shop the meat dept repeatedly for very good meat at great prices.) LOCAL ARTISANS wall at front of store has locally farmed flour/chips/oatmeal, jewelry, magnets, postcards, pottery & more. (Oh, and cleanest gas-stop bathrooms ever.). ATM. Thank Gretchen on your way out.
A unique public-private partnership, including over $800,000 local donations, USDA 80/20 loan guarantee & thousands of hours of donated time from locals maked this all work. It works better than most dreamed possible, with dedicated staff & volunteers”
