“I live out of state and googled Flowers in St Paul, as I wanted a local shop for 2 very special arrangements. It was the day before Christmas Eve, and the temps were well below zero. I found this arrangement and knew it would be perfect for my brother in St Paul. I ordered it in the morning and it arrived later that day. My brother was very happy with the quality and funky design, it brought him much needed joy during a stressful times. “Great service. I had made an order online through 1800 flowers from this store, and had asked for it to be delivered the day before. However the morning of the set delivery I heard back that the location of the funeral wasn't going to be open yet. I frantically called and they already had it figured out. They had called the location before delivery, and were going to drop it off the next morning first thing instead. Super important because Minnesota winter would have frozen up the plant immediately. Thank you!”

Their building was part of Schmidt and is now beautifully restored as an indoor artisan market. The upper floor is occupied by Clutch Brewery. I used my grandmothers advice and popped a couple pennies in the vase which helped them perk up a bit. I'm sure it was very busy with the holiday... The florist offered to replace them after the fact, which was very generous!”

“Yes, hyvee prices are higher than nearby competitors (this is my main draw back and why I'm rating the store only four stars). However, the store has a much wider selection. Take for example today when I needed a small salmon fillet. I checked at an unspecified nearby grocery store with considerably lower prices, but was unable to find what I needed. Any other day I would have found an alternative to save me the trip to another store, but with a wild adolescent weasel roaming my basement, I was not willing to risk it. Thankfully Hyvee had exactly what I needed-4oz salmon fillets are sold at their seafood counter! (fingers crossed the salmon works. Otherwise I'll need to find another way to lure out the vermin) One things for sure, next time I have to get bait for a wild animal in my house, I'll save myself the time and go to hyvee right away!”
“Hyvee is a nice place to go when you get tired of Cub Foods, Target, Walmart. It's a little breath of fresh air. Has a little of everything. From pet food, pharmacy, plants, bathroom essentials etc. They also have a good variety of fresh food places you can eat, from Asian to American food. It's a nice selection. They have a wine and spirits and gas station as well but they are not connected to the store but within the same area.”
“Been awhile since I've been to a cub foods. Usually a Costco, target, L&B type of guy. Went there today as I wanted a one stop shop for so beverages and cooking needs for New Year's Eve. The store is looking like it's finishing a remodel and looks a lot nicer than I remember. The staff were friendly and the aisles well organized and zoned. Found what I needed quickly and efficiently. Great trip and will be back.”
