“We are visiting St. Paul to see our son’s basketball game and it also happens to be my mom’s birthday. I ordered flowers from A Pocket Full of Posies to be delivered to our hotel as a surprise for my mom. The flowers were waiting for her in hotel room when she checked in, and the arrangement is beautiful. I also received a text with a photo of the arrangement before it was delivered. “Yes, hyvee prices are higher than nearby competitors (this is my main draw back and why I'm rating the store only four stars). However, the store has a much wider selection. Take for example today when I needed a small salmon fillet. I checked at an unspecified nearby grocery store with considerably lower prices, but was unable to find what I needed. Any other day I would have found an alternative to save me the trip to another store, but with a wild adolescent weasel roaming my basement, I was not willing to risk it. Thankfully Hyvee had exactly what I needed-4oz salmon fillets are sold at their seafood counter! (fingers crossed the salmon works. Otherwise I'll need to find another way to lure out the vermin) One things for sure, next time I have to get bait for a wild animal in my house, I'll save myself the time and go to hyvee right away!”

“This was my first-time shopping at Hy-Vee. I've heard that they can be a bit pricey, but this time I decided to visit the floral section to pick up a flower for a friend who's sick in the hospital. I was on a tight budget and didn't know much about flowers, so I approached Lori Nelson, who was working on another order. Despite being busy, she stopped what she was doing and greeted me with a smile. Lori went above and beyond to help me find the perfect flower and offered some wonderful ideas. I am incredibly grateful for her kindness and outstanding customer service. Hy-Vee is fortunate to have someone like her on their team. Thanks to Lori, my shopping experience was meaningful, and I definitely plan on returning to purchase flowers from this location again. <3”
