“Sherbourne is such a lovely place to visit. Seeing the restored prairie is so lovely and it always fills me cup to see all the life that makes this park home.
I am particularly fond of the 7 mild wildlife drive that winds its ways through prairie, oak savannah, and different pools. The drive offers many stop points with short hikes or pull off areas with interpretation signs. Great for outdoors folks with mobility issues or who want to be out but aren't found of hiking along with those who are!
The variety of habitat means bird watchers will find a wide variety of species from swamp sparrows to sandhill cranes. Also great for snakes, ground squirrels, and other prairie friends.”
