“Went the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and really enjoyed the market. We bought some veggies from several different vendors. There were jams, preserves, eggs, plants, lots of veggies, baked goods and more. Baked goods were a bit pricey, but homemade always is. :) When we are visiting again, we will make a point of returning!”

They are able to compete with the large national chains with efficient stores and excellent super specials every Wednesday.The meat can be bought in smaller 1 and 2 pound packages, the larger 3 to 5 pound family packs or in larger 5 package or bulk weight prices. Their meat prices and selection is excellent.This Week's 20 pounds of potatoes specials are excellent.They have upgraded all the frozen food cases and shelves.”

“This Walmart is excellent for fresh fruit, vegetables and the in-house bakery. I have purchased plantains, avocadoes, dragon fruit, pomegranate and regular home grown vegetables. The bakery offers smaller single serving desserts and a wide variety of breads and pastry. I have also bought pizza, meats and seafood at excellent prices.This week they have tangerine bags at 3.97 , delicious apples at 1.47 lb, and avocado bags at 2.36, sweet corn at .73 each, bread at 1.25”

“I’ve always loved the commissary! I grew up in this store, learned how to shop in this store! I came today and asked for a few brown bags to do a craft with my students and was denied! How sad! I can definitely come on Saturday and do my shopping and get the same amount of bags, but it seems to me that they could have supported the local community too. Being a “perfect world” has more to do with supporting each other than being stingy with a few bags!”
