“You may remember TEXACO because "You can trust your car to the man who wears the star" but this particular gas station is known far and wide for its fried chicken. One of the few TEXACO gas stations left around, this busy stop on Harper Road may well sell more fried chicken than gasoline because many people swear what the sign in the window proclaims- Best Chicken in Town. A friend goes here regularly for her fried chicken liver and JoJo potato fix. Regular or spicy, if you like fried chicken maybe you should give it a try.”

“Dollar General is always reliable. They're everywhere (4 in my close area), have a wide variety of products and are great priced. Food, clothing items, home decor, pet products, toys, electronics, medical supplies, health supplies (vitamins, pain medicine, allergy/cold medicine ECT), party supplies and much more. They recently added a self checkout lane for those paying with a card. That really helps because the only issue is that there are only a few people working there at any time and are often busy with other things in the store, so it can take a bit to get checked out sometimes.”
