I enjoyed fresh corn cut off the Cobb from Norman's, and blackened peas, fried okra, and fried chicken, with bottled fresh water! It was tasty, scrumptious, nourishing, and delicious! “Usually go here when I need to pick up a few quick items. It's on the edge of town and closer to the house, so I don't have to drive the extra miles and deal with all the parking and hunting through the big stores. Most of the time, the they're cheaper on things I need than Walmart anyway.”
“The Deli always has great food for breakfast and lunch. The grocery side of the store is where I go to spend a little more so I don't have to go to Wal-Mart.”

“Friendly cashier. Hardly ever have paper towels at the window cleaning trash cans. Receipt rarely prints at the pump. And my lorrrdt what is that stuff to clean your windshields with? It smells absolutely disgusting!”

“Good prices but I would take your time shopping here. I've been visiting Dollar Generals for years and only now have I sorted the good food from the bad. You can get great deals on nuts and seeds. Their eggs are as good as any, short of farm raised. If your buying cleaning supplies go with named brand ones. You can often find lower prices at the local WalMart but you will spend more time just getting to the checkout line. Definitely save those $5 off coupons and you'll save time and money. I personally feel Dollar General has improved life for many people here. Maybe you need to get some Ibuprofen PM for a bad cold? It takes 5 minutes to get it. The same goes for batteries for a dead remote, they locate their stores very strategically. Even in very rural areas you'll find a Dollar General. So as far as convenience 5 stars all the way.”

“This place is unassuming but clean, including restrooms. Staff is polite and helpful. There's a small selection of groceries and convenience store items.They have wonderful fried chicken!! We purposely stopped there to get some today (January 1, 2022). Portions are large for the price.We have also bought gasoline there on a different trip.”
