“United Deli & Grocery is such a wonderful addition to the culinary scene of Columbus, Mississippi. The staff here are incredibly friendly and it is definitely service with a warm and friendly smile.The sandwiches are the real star here and certainly shine. It is great to find such a fantastic sandwich and the ambiance, while definitely no-frills, I believe, only adds to the overall ambiance of United Deli & Grocery.I travel a lot for work and finding these little hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pop businesses that kick out a great meal just adds to the overall enjoyment of my job and definitely makes those long road trips all the easier.United Deli & Grocery is a great option if you are in the Columbus, Mississippi and craving a fantastic sandwich.”
“Great selection, and the staff was helpful, friendly, and smiling!! While I was waiting in line (and I was only the 2nd person), they opened another register!!! What! I literally did NOT stand in line longer than 5 minutes. SPECTACULAR!! The prices are within reason, the shelves were actually stocked, and the meat department was lovely. If you are looking to break away from Wal-Mart and find a quality grocery store--this is the place!! Buy your groceries here!!”
“Great place to shop; managers are helpful & friendly; the employees are also great. Great food in the deli; great bakery foods; variety of fruits, vegetables & household items. They also have a dollar store section in most of their stores. Most likely you can find what you need. Oh, yeah, they actually still answer the phone & help you with questions! They are a people friendly business. They have living, breathing, serving cashiers & they’re friendly which is nice. Way better than Walmart!!!”

“Went into store yesterday loud rap music playing vulgar regarding sex and genitals have never been in a store of any kind that was allowed to play such vulgar nasty music all customers were appalled this store is on 182 East close to New hope road we will not use this store again unless the filth that was playing is stopped also a can was dropped on my 88 year old mother's leg im sure this was accidental but the music has to stop we usually go there every day as it is close to our home this store was recently remodeled and is worse than it was you can't walk in aisles due to boxes its an accident waiting to happen but my primary concern is the loud nasty music children were also in the store listening to this it was never turned down and was extremely loud this happened on March 11 at around 200 pm”
“Since Fred's left us, Dollar General is quickly exceeding Family Dollar for service! But Columbus, MS needs another location (not as cluttered as the rest please) on 5th Street South ( former Fred's Location) across from Columbus Light & Water. Walking distance from my house...”
“The meat department is the best in the entire area hands down. The produce is a little sub-par with some rotten items on the shelf and the milk is always close to expiration. For our location they are doing a great job however and with a bit more work/staff they could be even better!”

“This Dollar General is so reliable and professional. I actually drove to Family Dollar because I saw online that it opened at 0800. However, when I got there, the doors were locked. I knocked on the door, waited, no one came. So I ran to Dollar General and their door was unlocked. TShura greeted me immediately and helped me find what I needed in a hurry! THANKS TShura!This was not the first time I had a helpful and professional experience. About a month ago, I had another emergency and it was right at closing hour. Jennifer was the employee working. There was a MAD RUSH at closing and the line was long. Jennifer was so efficient in getting us through the line. There was one lady holding the line up maybe just asking for price checks or something and still deciding on her merchandise at checkout. Customers in line were getting agitated, but Jennifer handled it in the most polite and professional way and got us all through! The customer was rude to her and Jennifer still kept her composure. It was amazing. This is the most professional Dollar General/convenience store in town! I think the supervisors name is Keanna--she's doing a great job with her staff & store!”
