Customers describe a wonderful experience with friendly and welcoming staff. The customer service is top‑notch, genuinely care and always ready to help. Employees greet you right when you walked in and offer help with the right thing, whether it is an adhesive for a car or a grill purchase. The staff are knowledgeable, patient and go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you need. The store is clean, has good vibes and a convenient shopping experience. Even though the store is listed as a tool rental place, they suggest an actual tool rental place and do not rent tools. If you do not like big box stores, try Midtown Ace for great service and a helpful neighborhood hardware experience.
Every time I visit the Midtown Ace Hardware store (on Hardy Street in Hattiesburg, Miss.), I am treated with respect and helpfulness. There's always a sense of hospitality and humor. This is my favorite place for hardware/homeware needs.

Me and my husband had the best experience at Ace Hardware midtown! Tony was very experienced and helpful. Micheal the manager made sure we was taken care of in every aspect. I highly recommend this location! We are ready to enjoy our stihl products we got today!
