“I walked into the store and showed them the part that I needed, less than 5 minutes later all of the parts were on the counter and they explained exactly what i needed to do to get the shower going again. The big box stores had no idea what I needed and McElhaney was better priced.”
“I stopped into the Ace Hardware Midtown Hattiesburg location today, and I have to say — this place is phenomenal. It’s a smaller store, but that’s exactly what makes it special. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and personal — a rare find these days.
The staff is always eager to help, and today I had the pleasure of meeting Vic, who was especially knowledgeable and went out of his way to assist me. You can tell he really knows his stuff and genuinely enjoys helping customers.
Every time I visit, I’m reminded why I prefer shopping local — great service, great people, and a team that truly cares. Highly recommend this Ace Hardware to anyone in the area!

“Generally a good selection of plants but this time of year, not so much. Remember to keep you receipts for a potential return. You have one year from purchase with a receipt s and only 90 days without. The tropical plants are better this time of year as long as you find them properly watered. Make sure you read your plants best location before planting.”

“I bought two 20-foot long strut channels from CED. I had called a few other places, including two of the big box stores in the area. Nobody had what I needed, but the guys here knew exactly what I was looking for and had plenty in stock. They were extremely helpful and super nice. I highly recommend this place. “Darrell Jones is a treasure as an employee! I don’t know what y’all are paying him but it’s not enough! His attitude, professionalism, friendliness, attentiveness, attention to detail, knowledge of products and information was astounding ! In all the years we have dealt with Home Depot employees through the course of building 2 homes and countless home projects we have only encountered one other that was half the employee he was. He went above and beyond for us hunting cabinets they did not have in stock and calling other stores to have them ready for pick up cause everything is 4-12 weeks out for custom cabinets and/or deliveries.”
