Intentionally or not, walk-in customers are heavily prioritized. It’s better to park across the street and walk in. We were the third car in line and could not turn around. We sat 40 minutes, while 6-8 walk-ins ordered and were served with large orders before we were able to place our order. We’ll likely come again, but we’ve learned our lesson and hope you don’t have to. If ordering a bigger/messier bagel, remember to ask for it to be cut in half because they all usually come whole.

20110 Pineville Rd, Long BeachI stopped at Long Beach Market & Deli after finishing a work assignment on the coast and before starting the 3.5-hour drive north. I just needed a quick bite, but this place completely blew me away.
I ordered the shrimp fried rice and a beer. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was incredible. I’ve lived in several parts of the U.S., including cities with strong Asian food scenes, and this was some of the best fried rice I’ve had anywhere.
The portion was huge and packed with shrimp, vegetables, and rice. It was flavorful, a little greasy in the best way, and absolutely satisfying. I told myself I’d save some for the drive, that did not happen.
If you’re anywhere near Long Beach and want a seriously good meal, I can’t recommend this place enough.
