“I just love this place and especially love the little coffee shop they have inside. Really great coffee for a really great price. Today I got a chai tea latte with two shots of espresso and it was only $5.45 and the quality was top-notch, twice as good as anywhere else, highly recommend!”

“This market is a very good place to start if you are looking for Middle Eastern/Mediterranean staples that can be difficult to find elsewhere in town. I’m on the Mediterranean diet most of the time and love being able to stock up on bulgar/other grains, spices, and teas here. I was also excited to see they carry labneh! For any charcuterie people out there, I highly recommend trying it with pita and either peaches or pomegranate, whichever is in season. I would absolutely recommend checking this place out but would give it 3.5 stars compared to other international markets I have lived near in the past. The selection is good but not extensive, with multiple feet of a shelf taken up by one type of item instead of more variety, but I understand variety could come with time. For example, I’d suggest expanding the imported olive oil selection to more varieties from more countries. Any dish can be elevated with a quality oil and that can be hard to find locally. I would shop here all the time if there were more components for East Asian cooking as well. I understand this is a Middle Eastern focused store, but I’d love a small section of other international ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere in town. I like to make ramen from scratch at home instead of using the instant kind and I tend to have to order a LOT of ingredients (various dried mushrooms, soybean pastes, different noodles, aromatic oils, and vinegars and sauces) online when I can’t find what I’m looking for at Walmart or Kroger, and I’d love to give more business to a local grocery store instead. I also think it’d be a hit with the younger crowd in town.”

“At the self check out which I normally use a card but for some reason I chose to use cash. My total was 32.10 but not paying attention I took 50 out of my wallet n put 40 in well it returned 7.90 which confused me bc I thought I still had 10 to pay n the screen read nothing paid... the manager was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She helped me figure out what happened and sent me with the right amount of change which I was about to leave bc I was so confused as to what happened. She was so sweet and understanding!¡ wish every DG had employees like her. This was Old Taylor rd DG btw. Thank you again”

“I love this store. I live less than a mile from the one on Lamar. With that being said, you need to get the air conditioner fixed. And the credit cards have been down for 2 days. It's always going down. You need to update or something. I'm there at least 5 times a week. Please fix it. This is Mississippi and we need air so we can be comfortable when we shop. And I almost never carry cash.”

“My favorite gas station in town by far. It has a lovely owner a clean environment and a helpful staff. Also it's gas is the cheapest in town (other than maybe Kroger with a card) and I'm a delivery driver so I should know. I highly recommend”

“So, I have to give the ladies working, the benefit of a dought because it is Xmas but the only downside is that they need stockers because the isles were "ran through... Workers 5 star, prices always 5 star place tho...not so good looks like they should throw a guy a bone here and give me some work.”

“The only DG I go to. I don't know if that's more out of convenience or because I make friends with all the employees, but either way, their stock is always stocked so I'm always a happy customer:)”

“Tonight I went to Kroger to do some shopping and I was helped by a young woman named Jaliya. She was nice enough to bring to my attention that I could save some money by using coupons that I could access with the Kroger app, which I didn't have. She took the time to set up the app and the account for me on my phone so I could save $13. I very much appreciated the time and attention she shared and saving money was great, too. I was honestly stunned by having such incredible customer service. Many thanks to her! I just wanted management to know what a wonderful job she is doing.”

“Most dollar generals you go to usually have one thing in common, there are aisle's blocked off by tons of inventory. I'm assuming they are incredibly understaffed, but besides that it's still a very convenient place and very nice people, which is all that really matters.”
