“Previously, I did not see the purpose. Now I'm fond of the store. I think when the price got to $5.55. The inventory improved. They have a better selection of items like cool t-shirts that go up to xL, home decor like unique rugs, dog supplies, headphones for ps5, and small exercise equipment. However, don't increase prices anymore because then the store can't be called 5 below.”
“It's a great place for art supplies, candy, gifts, and electronic gizmos. The place can be a mess, but it's not necessarily their fault. As a lot of retail stores seem to have children come in all ages, and just throw things everywhere.”
“I regularly shop here for items at a discounted price ! They have a variety of things that you can get at a decent price and offers all kinds of deals. Great atmosphere,the employees are very friendly and willing to assist.”
“I went in for a specific item, that item being a mobile phone accessory. They have a section for that and it did not disappoint.
The rest of the store...well, for a relatively small footprint, they've got a little bit of everything and prices seem to be fair. On this day, the staff were ultra friendly and helpful.

“I love to shop at Dollar General. The store is very organized and clean which is very important to me. When I cannot locate an item the staff always stop their work and show me where the item is located. Today I could not find epsom salt and the lady showed me where it was ...on a bottom shelf..then she asked me how many bags I wanted...they were heavy..and she put them in my basket...this is not unusual they are always helpful. I also like the variety of items . I enjoy shopping there.”

“I have never been to this location before today. I swung by on my way home to grab some roasting pans and some birthday napkins. They had a variety of options to choose from with each item I was looking for. The shelves were well stocked and I even came home with some things I didn't know I needed. The nice gentleman who was working had a great sense of humor and was very polite. I would definitely recommend this location.”
“Always stocked . Great general store. Home goods, food ( some refrigerated) , cleaning, clothes and more. Store does need updates and there has been a few disturbances to the building. The community is working on that.”
“Not always but sometimes great bread choices at Dollar Tree price. Greeting cards. Cleaning supplies. Larger store than some, so sometimes products not found at other locations. Often busy. Easy parking. Walmart Market is only a few shops away on Metcalf Ave.”

“Employees and manager are always so pleasant, and with so many locations in KC, this one is the fav. So nice to be able to stop on my way home to grab a few things, be rung up quickly, and be on my way. Probably helps that it's in a nicer little pocket away from the seedy areas.”
