“Cheapest price in town for cigarettes and all other things. My brand of cigarettes cost me $8.00 a pack where I normally bought them. I went in and they suggested an off brand I could try. They taste the same and only cost me $2.37 a pack. Everyone there is nice to work with, always in a good mood.

“At least this location had helium , But The size of the balloons are miniature ! She must have filled it to full cause as I walked to the car it deflated ! I wish the balloons were bigger for the price its not even 1.25 anymore. Won't get balloons here again”

“I love this little store In the middle of the big city. It's an easy place to park and run in and get out. They are always out of milk but other than that they are great.”
“Store is an old strip mall that has some severe damage and not a lot of stores but the store itself is very clean and organized. The employees probably feel like its finally year in there but they are extremely pleasant and helpful. Unlike some larger stores we now in our neighborhood. Lol its close to home and has all the things you need to make healthy and not so healthy food choices. And I love variety. I will be a regular customer.”
“The employees here are having a tough time. Even so, they’re minimizing letting their frustrations out on customers. That takes a lot of strength.I called in to ask if they had an item in stock. The employee was straightforward and helpful.When I came in, cashier was with a customer and went out of her way to greet me despite being so busy.I imagine it is much harder to provide good customer service when the store is full (I grew up in this neighborhood).”
“This store is always stocked well. It's the best Dollar general I have been to in a while. Nowadays it's hard to find a well stocked and staffed neighborhood grocery store where the employees don't curse at each other and smell like weed. I bypass several stores just to get to this one because of the good experience.”
“EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Stopped by around 5pm on 080526. All three employees I encountered were outstanding in their service. A young friendly black lady welcomed me to the store when I first walked in, an older white lady stopped stocking and helped me look for square pillow cases with a zipper (I bought some a couple of years ago and wanted more). A very tall black gentleman who was stocking stopped and offered to help me when I walked into his area. The store was extremely clean, well organized and well stocked. It is apparent these employees take great pride in their work and are genuinely concerned to provide the best possible service to customers. I wish I owned a business so I could offer all three a career position. It is rare to find dedicated employees of this high caliber.”

“Just went into Dollar Tree and had the best experience because of Beverly, our cashier. She was so engaging and positive that the women behind chatted as well. Beverly sure knows how to make a store in the middle of this city feel like a small town friendly atmosphere. Thanks Beverly, I’m from out of town. You’re the best!!!!”
“I visited FIVE different Dollar Trees in the greater KC area yesterday. This Barry Road location was BY FAR the most tidy & organized one! Yes, there were 2 carts with boxes to be shelved, & it was not 100% spotless. And yet it was generally clean, bright, tidy, & stocked - a far cry from the other stores.
The aisles were wide open & accessible, except for those 2 carts, & an employee was actively working to move displaced items. I approached & thanked her, explaining what I’d seen elsewhere. She was very cheerful & polite & seemed genuinely excited to have a store she could be proud of, but I forgot to get her name. The young man at the register, Mo, was also polite & friendly. This makes me want to come back.
I will add that the store had 2 (& both working!) price scanners. That was rare in my findings elsewhere. The other store had none or didn’t work or only had one. Big props for this, with all the price changes happening!
This store had been one I was avoiding, due to its previous lack of organized shelves & overall messiness & lack of cleanliness. I will now add it to my favorites! Dollar tree, take note! Have some pride, managers! It matters!”
“This is my neighborhood GD.I find the employees very nice and friendly. There is some stuff in the aisles waiting to be stocked but they are doing best they can with probably being short staffed. They have always been helpful and I appreciate them.”
“A smaller Dollar general doesn't seem to have the same amount of stock as the normal ones do. I think they actually might have a little more of a food selection but their homewares and other random stuff isn't as good”

“Shop here frequently. Never had any problems. They tend to rearrange the products more often than I’ve ever noticed other stores do. The price of everything has literally doubled for many items in recent months. If fairness, prices have risen sharply across the board.”

“It had been nearly a year since I braved this store, the last time I was there it was a nightmare of racks so you couldn't shop and one cashier. I left not wanting to return. For convenience sake I went and was pleasantly surprised and on how clean, orderly, and well stocked the store was. Still only one at the checkout but there no line and the cashier was lovely. I noticed men working on making the store the way I described.Dollar General stores have all been a mess with racks of unstocked product, and you can't get to the merchendise. I don't want t to shop them anymore for that reason.Today this Dollar General was a pleasure to shop!Thank you”

“Always stocked . Great general store. Home goods, food ( some refrigerated) , cleaning, clothes and more. Store does need updates and there has been a few disturbances to the building. The community is working on that.”
