“This was hands-down the best post office experience I have ever had! From the moment I walked in, every employee had a positive, can-do attitude and genuinely wanted to help.
I was in a serious pinch—needing my passport in about a month—and they walked me through every step of the process, including expediting fees, required documents, and timelines. They made what could have been a stressful situation feel simple and manageable.
I had already been driving all over Kansas City trying to get this figured out. Earlier in the day, I went to the Monticello post office as a walk-in, but the gentleman there seemed unwilling to help and told me my only option was to go to Chicago to get my passport.
This location was the complete opposite—friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They went above and beyond to make sure I left feeling confident and taken care of. I can’t recommend them enough!”
“Bill and all of the staff were amazing with helping me to weigh all of my wedding invitations to get the correct stamps and even hand cancelled each letter for me! They were friendly the entire time and made me feel comfortable with putting the invites through the mail!”
“My father-in-law and I had to rush our passport renewals, which was already a stressful and anxiety-inducing experience. Thankfully, Alisha provided expert guidance and walked us through each step with clarity and care.
She is the epitome of professionalism, deep expertise, and genuine empathy. Thank you, Alisha! We are truly grateful. Bless you!”
“This place IS a blessing. It’s one of the few location open (mostly it seems) 24/7. Though it can be a little intimidating because the parking lot is lit up but there’s no lit sign, so it may wear closed. It’s also set back off the highway.. not readily noticeable. The area seems safe. But if it was located any where else in town… ?Just keep an eye out and be aware of of what’s going on around you. But… if your a last minute shirt like me!!!Oh it’s a blessing!!!”

“Clean & always easy to run in. Gives us somebody’s mail that doesn’t live their anymore, even though we’ve written “does not live here” on envelopes & she said she wouldn’t deliver anymore.”
“The postal lady or clerk #33 was friendly happy and was very enjoyable to watch with others. This world has been very hard and I got to see how kind and wonderful she was. I'm usually the one lending a helping hand and I got to receive kindness from her today and it really touched my heart to see kind and helping each other out in times of need and I want to thank her and make sure to give a kind hand to her when I can she showed me that there are great people still in this world. Thank you for extending your hand. God bless you and you have made my day so wonderful. She's a one of a kind.”
“Let me tell ya. Our package somehow had grandview as city when we live in a different one. We called them and the man on the phone, I’m sorry I forgot your name, told us he would make a note AND send an email to the warehouse to flag it and return to their office. He called us today to tell them it rerouted back to them and that we could pick it up or he’d send it to the right address. What a beautiful soul!!!!”
“I had a package get delivered to the wrong address so I completed a missing item help form. Less than 1 hour later the mail carrier came to my door, inquired about the mix up and tracked down the package. Wow! This was great service.”
“Rodney was working the counter for an appointment I had. They were able to get me in and out quicker than I thought and made a process I thought would be painful very simple and easy. Thank you Rodney!”
“Was getting mail delivered to the incorrect box. Frustrating to say the least. Spoke with Maria at Belton post office and she couldn’t be any more helpful. Calm kind and just a rock star. If we had more people like her it would be a better place”
