“Thank goodness for JB working today, I came in for my passport, he was able to assist me without an appointment because no locations around me have had availability that worked with my schedule as a working mom with a traveling job. I had a lot of hold up with getting newly married and all the government shut downs with my documents, that his kindness and flexibility was such a relief.

“The sweetest man works here! I ran out of packing tape so I planned on purchasing some when I arrived at the store, but he asked me if I had my return label and when I responded that I did he told me to just leave the package on the counter and that he’d tape it up for me. All the while he was very friendly and funny. I will definitely take all future packages here for shipping!”

It’s always more convenient than the actual USPS location on Barry Rd.For all you leaving bad reviews: this is inside HyVee, and they DON’T deliver your mail. Your local post office does. “I had an issue with my mail and didn’t want to take off work to visit the union station post office. I was greeted promptly and my issues wasn’t resolved but at least I know there is a staffing issue and this is why my mail isn’t being delivered daily. In all honesty is fine. In the future, let people know mail will be delivered once or twice a week due to staffing shortages, especially during tax season.”

“Julius, let me tell you about Julius. Dude is not only the most helpful post office manager/employee I’ve had the “pleasure” of dealing with… normally, for me to get anything done at a post office at my previous address, it’s similar to waiting in a DMV line to get your license renewed only to find out your having all your teeth pulled by a dentist instead.
Julius was not only helpful to more than expected and well above my usual “helpful” service received. That man is sincere and you can tell he’s generally happy that he gets to help and thats very pleasant to be real. Itll make a sore attitude turn into a smile least and that was worth more to me than the great helpful service received! I needed a mood change so thanks for the excellent service my man and keep being upbeat and happy it rubs off on people :)”

He was incredibly professional and polite and explained everything that you needed to know about everything.

“I don’t know who I need to yell at but.. GIVE MR GREG MORE MONEY!!!!! I was so so worried, I ordered all of my son’s Christmas and birthday gifts a month early and still have not gotten them. I reported the packages missing and got a call within 15 minutes. Mind you it is 7pm the Friday before Christmas. He was very professional and personable and even offered to follow up with me the next day with an update to give me some peace of mind. 10/10 no crumbs. Give ‘em a raise!”

The couple times I came here before, terrible experiences (no one was available way past opening time, employees unsure how to do their job, taking 30+ minutes to find a package, etc.) Previously would've been a 0/5 recommendation.
However, came here on a Saturday and was pretty surprised. Guys at the window were quick, friendly, and competent. Not sure if they've gotten new management or staff at the location, or this particular team on Saturday just has it together more.
The night and day difference is going to prompt me to plan on visiting on Saturdays in hope to keep receiving this same experience.”

I was hoping a package would arrive before the tracking, and the staff suggested I come the next morning.
