“I want to give the Staff and Director Manager Kara of the Maverik in Bethany, MO a shout out!
During an end of the day trip from Lawrence, KS to Des Moines, IA, I had begun nodding off so got off the highway and took a small nap in the parking lot of their Maverik. After regaining some energy I went inside, freshened up and was going to buy some snacks.
The woman working the store at the time was eager to check out my items but I elected to use the self check out instead.
This is the moment I must of sat my wallet on the counter and ended up leaving it behind.
The next morning literally minutes after I had just noticed that I did not have my wallet, I receive a message on Facebook from Director Manager Kara letting me know they had my wallet!!
I think it was really awesome of her to take the time to use all resources available to make sure I got my wallet back!!
Thank you for going above and beyond!!
I make the drive back to retrieve my wallet which was safely enclosed in an envelope. I was honestly surprised to find I still had my cash in the wallet!!

“I passed through here going north and had a nice conversation with the business owner. She was telling me about her restaraunt food as there is a restaraunt here also, So i made it a plan to stop here omw back south. I arrived just as they were closing but they stayed open to make my order which im thankful for. I ordered the gyro which had great flavor to it and the fries were cooked perfectly crisp and golden. The chef girl that works the kitchen also has great customer service. You were able to back your claim that your food is delicious, as i really did enjoy my meal.Thanks again.”
