“Nice little Amish store. I bought 50 lbs of soft white wheat berries for $71, which is a good deal. They have a little deli inside and plenty of jarred pickles, jellies and whatnot. We will go again.”
“Second time we’ve attempted to use curbside pickup. The app does not allow you to check in to let them know you are in a curbside parking spot and then you have to get on the phone with customer service each time. It’s more of an inconvenience for busy folks than it is a convenience.
EDIT-fixing my rating for the girl who finally got our order to us. She has helped us before and always seems incredibly happy to help. She represents the store in my opinion. I just wish we could get the app situation figured out.”
“These people are always service minded and will go out of their way to check their inventory to see if they have the items you want. There has not been a time that I went
to their store that they haven't offered to carry out my items and usually insist on loading up my vehicle. Just for that they get 5 stars.
I'm not interested in statuary but they have carried a lot of pieces.
Excellent fruit and veggies. Occasionally a little pricy on some items but it's usually premium quality. You can buy in bulk and if you do there is often a price discount.
They have very nice garden plants in spring and they don't let them dry out and get stunted like big box stores often do.
The flower containers are beatiful and varied. They're not cheap but again the specimens are usually exceptional.
I drive 60+ miles to go here regularly and see what new items and great deals they have.”
“I have always really liked Save a lot.. I used to go to the one in Bonterre Missouri. Now Save a lot in Farmington. They always have a big selection of meat at a cheaper price ? I like that.. and every one i have talked to here is nice and friendly..”
“They actually take my Insurance card for Healthy food, so I don't have to go to Dollar General and Walmart and they do the meat themselves so you know you are getting great quality, even the Deli and the Bakery is amazing, and after 7 pm all the donuts and things in the donut case are 50 cent, you can not beat that, and they are delicious made daily, plus you get money back to spend on your next purchase with the reward program and other benefits.”
“They didn't have one thing I needed. The poor guy working inside looked like he had been working overtime and he was the only worker I seen. No one else. I give him props for sticking with it through the pandemic. It's hard....they are out of a lot of things though”
“One of the best experiences of my life, my cashier VALERIE took care of everything for me with the best, most upbeat attitude I've ever seen at any store. This women is gonna go far in life. She not only took the time to listen to what I had to say but also took the time to teach me a thing or to. I'm definitely taking my family here every weekend just cause of valerie!!!”
“I absolutely LOVE curbside pick up! All the employees are so sweet! My mom uses them a lot because she is disabled and loves that she can still "shop" on her own! Amazing idea and outstanding customer service!”
“I love Harps.. it is convenient to walk to and go there in and out.. I shall return 🥰💯❤ oh also they have the best fried chicken only on Monday.. I think.. lol.. it is better than Kentucky fried chicken 💯”
“Staff at both DG's in Farmington are nice and easy to talk too but always seem understaffed. Their store brand products are better or equal to most Equate/Walmart products and usually cheaper.”
“Nice, neat, and clean store, as it's a newer store. Clean and spacious parking lot. Really hope that the interior and exterior stays in great shape, unlike some of the other, more older, Dollar General stores. This is definitely my "go to" location.”
“The market offers a variety of fresh homemade baked goods, including pies, cookies and breads. A wide variety of organic produce, including delicious sweet fruit and hearty vegetables, You will also find honey, pure maple syrup, jams, jellies, spices, pickles and peppers. Homemade soaps, pain salves and lip balms.
The gentleman running the store are friendly, the prices are remarkable and everything we purchased was delicious. They only accept cash.”
