“Cheapest price in town for cigarettes and all other things. My brand of cigarettes cost me $8.00 a pack where I normally bought them. I went in and they suggested an off brand I could try. They taste the same and only cost me $2.37 a pack. Everyone there is nice to work with, always in a good mood.

“I was shocked! The 64th Street Dollar Tree is the best Dollar Tree location I've ever visited. I go to the Dollar Tree often in KCMO Metro, Chino Hills, California, and Destin, Florida. This is the best one ever. Period!
I live in South KC and happened to be in the Northland and dropped in at this location and was completely WOWWED! The Dollar Trees in South KC, have worn down employees, boxes are all in the aisles, and the shelves are completely disheveled. I'm not sure where I'll find products because they are strewn all over store. The chaotic stores in South KC give me anxiety and I can't wait to get out of there, but NOT the Dollar Tree on 64th Street! I love being in this store. The employees are so nice and professional at this location. The shelves are so organized and well stocked. There were so many items I haven't seen at any other location. The organization here keeps me calm where I can spend more time in the store.
You can tell the employees take pride in their store and their employees must be empowered because they are nice to customers. Whatever management is doing at this store needs to be replicated at every Dollar Tree store.
Some reviews said Martway is the best Dollar Tree in the KC Metro. It does have better stock but it's not better than 64th Street and it isn't that large”

“Sprue Brothers had Transformers models still in stock that were sold out or selling above MSRP on other sites. I was happy to see I could get my friend's favorite Soundwave and Ravage still for a reasonable price. The model arrived in a sturdy box with filling to protect it which is always a concern when I order models due to broken pieces. Absolutely would recommend and purchase again from Sprue Brothers.”
“Has many different types of items to look at. They have good prices on most things. Place is clean and have friendly and helpful employees. I go there once a month to check on any new items I might want.”
“5/22/2026: stopped in here to grab a quick something to cook for dinner while I was waiting for the bus to come thru. They're actually keeping this location looking really good, but it is in North Kansas City so that's gotta be the reason as to why and also the reason why their employees were so nice and hella helpful. Definitely wouldn't mind making this my daily grocery store if I was in need of it”

“A large, clean will stocked Dollar Tree. The new concept is a bit confusing at times. They have plenty of cold drinks but they are all together without any prices so the tea that costs $3 is in the same place as $1.25 drinks but you don't know what each costs. Overall a good place to shop with a little of everything. The staff are nice, great selection of cleaning supplies and nice parking lot. Plus they are close to Pancho's Mexican which is a bonus!”
“A smaller Dollar general doesn't seem to have the same amount of stock as the normal ones do. I think they actually might have a little more of a food selection but their homewares and other random stuff isn't as good”

She has helped me out on two different times one fixing my cell phone the other one my card would not work but money was on my card and she took time Patience very very inspiring young lady. You can definitely tell that her behavior flows from her inner peace within very clean store very respectful.”
“I used to frequent this Dollar General nearly everyday, often times I didn't even have any money, and yet despite this the employees that work here on afternoons treated me with a hospitality that I haven't experienced at most other places. The employees are incredibly kind & patient and know exactly how to treat someone how they want to be treated, and honestly I can't thank them enough for always being able to tolerate me. ?”
“Nice clean store, with great employees. Only complaint would be that you never know if it will be open or closed. Went here on Sunday at 2:00 pm and it was closed. Had to go to another location at 45th and Metropolitan, and that was a bad experience. Employees with bad attitudes there.”

“There is everything here from food to toys, to the core and more. I enjoy looking for different things each time. So far it is always been clean and bright. Weather I need laundry detergent, chips, and ice cold soda, home decor, sock, shoes, Beauty Supplies, feminine supplies, pet supplies, and even movies.”

“It had been nearly a year since I braved this store, the last time I was there it was a nightmare of racks so you couldn't shop and one cashier. I left not wanting to return. For convenience sake I went and was pleasantly surprised and on how clean, orderly, and well stocked the store was. Still only one at the checkout but there no line and the cashier was lovely. I noticed men working on making the store the way I described.Dollar General stores have all been a mess with racks of unstocked product, and you can't get to the merchendise.
