“Wow! Absolutely AMAZING customer service! I stay at hotels about once, twice a week for work. I frequent Marriott locations as well, I’m not sure if it is the location or ALL of the employees, but I have never experienced such amazing customer service from a regular hotel! It was similar to a resort experience for just a one night work trip! The attendants at front desk were so accommodating, & so kind as well. I unfortunately missed my flight and overslept, and I am not a bonvoy member either, and they gave me until 2 to enjoy the time I had until I was able to make my flight. Wow, I am so so pleased with this stay & this will be my permanent location when I visit Kansas City. Thank you again to all the hard working employees who made my stay such a pleasant one when I went though my own personal difficulties.”
“It's truly a lovely place; the craftsmanship is stunning the heat is a lot but the show was amazing I forgot I was a boiling lobster. The front door staff is amazing. However after paying $100+ dollars to walk into the door I find the drink prices a little out of hand a Rum & coke, and a beer should never be $36 that's just silly. These were not top shelf drinks, I expected an up charge but I didn't expect two drinks to pay for the whole bottle of liquor and a tip.”
“We rented the entire facility for our son’s 11th birthday. We had 16 kids and the staff and place was incredible! The kids absolutely loved it and it was such a unique experience! The two staff members went absolutely above and beyond in every way! We will definitely be back again!”
“Nice variety of artists and crafters. Food trucks, bounce house and even a chance to get a reading! I hope this venue continues to grow! Great Mo River back drop with a nice walking trail. Leashed pets are welcome. A very nice way to spend time on a Sunday afternoon.”

“My husband and I love recordBar. Every show we've seen there has been a great time. The venue itself is very clean and well maintained. The stage is excellent - high enough off the ground to be seen across the venue, but low enough to still feel intimate with the bands.
There is a combination of paid and free parking near the venue. It is literally half a block from the T-Mobile Center, but it feels like its own little world.
I can't speak for the men's restroom, but the women's restroom was clean and had full length stall doors, which is always a plus.
The drinks are reasonably priced. The other night when we were there, my husband got a Busch Light and I got an Angry Orchard for $12 plus tip. (Always tip your bartender!) They had a fully stocked bar, and we saw a sign for $3 mystery shots. We chose not to get that crazy though. They also have a kitchen, though we haven't eaten there.
My husband's band actually got the opportunity to play there recently, and everyone was very kind and friendly. The sound guy was amazing and knowledgeable and the show sounded excellent!
Highly recommend stopping in recordBar for a show if you're looking for a great time at a smaller venue that isn't quite a dive.”

“I've been going to the uptown since the 90s. It's always been a bit grungy, but the staff is always top tier. The stage seems pretty small, so when they have a band like the flaming lips or even Bright Eyes it can look pretty cramped. I've never noticed the stage impact a performance though. The seats are nice and comfy and the free parking is one of the best deals in this city.”
“We did a clay class with Flower and they were absolutely amazing. Incredibly sweet, helpful, and motivating. It was an amazing class. The premade pottery painting area is also quite large with a ton of pottery and colors to choose from. Great place”

“First, this library is beautiful. Secondly, the staff is just amazing. My printer at home had stopped working and I really needed some things printed off. I usually go to The UPS store but it was a bit out of my way. The library is right down the street from my home so I decided to call and ask if they could print some items for me.
The young man who answered the phone was so polite and nice. He answered all my questions. And even walk me through how to upload and print online.
I couldn't get it the first time I actually called back and spoke to another staff member and they were just as nice and helpful. I went to pick up my prince and was greeted with a smile by the young lady who was sitting behind the desk. It really made my day. There's so much hate and mean people in the world today; it's such a pleasure to encounter some kindness. Thank you Green Hills Library!!”

“Nice venue.My sister got married there on May 24th it was a beautiful service and she made a stunning bride.My brothers,my dad and I had an amazing time. I'll never forget that. My only complaint is that the lighting was minimal. Very dark in there.There were tealights in places.You couldn't take great pictures,unless you were there in midday. I have on the royal blue straw hat. I'm the shortest man in the family. ?”
“We had our wedding reception at The Monarch Room in October 2024. We knew after we toured it that it was the perfect venue for us. We loved the open vendor policy so we could truly make the day what we wanted. Being able to bring in your own alcohol that their bartenders prep and serve was awesome as well, so we could completely customize our bar menu. The location also can’t be beat, especially for the price. You really get so much bang for your buck with this venue! Megan and her team were also amazing through the whole planning process and day of the wedding; they were always quick with communication and the day went off without a hitch! Highly recommend checking out The Monarch Room for your event!”

Would love for you to offer ginger ale, if that ever becomes possible.”

Was fun to walk through the hall of fame section and read the write ups on all the players and coaches while the kid ran around and did the shooting and passing challenges. “Great Expo Center. It shares a parking lot with a Holiday Inn. Plenty of parking and handicap ♿️ spaces available. There were 2 events going on at the same time today. A huge gun ? show and an antique doll ? auction. Handled both with space to spare. There is a Cafe on-site. They keep it very clean ?”

We loved everything about our experience at the Bauer including the staff, the space itself, and the operations of the building. We appreciated being able to go to several Bauer Hours to get a better sense of our vision & were beyond happy with every interaction with Emily, Erica & everyone else on staff. Everyone was so warm, welcoming & accommodating - it felt so different from some other venues we looked at. It was perfect for us & our day there was magical .
